Shui Miaomiao stunned.
Had she verbally provoked him? She had just been warning him.
Nevermind.
A wise man would extricate himself from a disadvantageous position wherever possible.
He kissed her. Did she need to kiss him back?
“Let go of me. I am going to take a shower,” Shui Miaomiao said, struggling to free her hands from his grasp.
Shen Mochen looked at her downcast eyes. Her demeanor was now quiet and obedient. The look in his eyes softened a little, as he loosened his grip and said, “The one with the vermilion door frame.”
Shui Miaomiao went in with the clothes, locked the bathroom door and turned on the faucet.
She washed her face and wiped her lips. Then she sighed.
It was difficult to prevent getting hurt when you are in society. You have to run when you know you can’t fight against it.She would just run as far as she could when she saw this man next time.
Shui Miaomiao took off her clothes and stood under the shower to clean herself.
Her clothes were covered in blood, making it impossible to wear them.
She looked at his shirt with a strange feeling in her heart. She picked it up and snuffed it.
His shirt smelled of detergent. It was not bad.
Shui Miaomiao put on his shirt and fastened up all the buttons.
The shirt was long and covered her legs like a mini skirt.
Shui Miaomiao picked up the underwear that he had given to her and looked at the middle of it.
Men’s underwear of men is cut in a different way to women’s. Women’s underwear is flat, while men’s underwear is designed as a three-dimensional package to wrap up the front area well.
His three-dimensional package was very prominent, and it was probably large.
Shui Miaomiao recalled the night in the United States.
That man had been extraordinarily large too.
Her face was flushed. It was strange. She did not remember that much about the man’s appearance. She only remembered the fire cloud birthmark on his abdomen, and…
Ahem.
That thing.
Shui Miaomiao remembered that Shen Mochen had said that the underwear was new and reluctantly put it on.
Then she came out of the bathroom.
Shen Mochen had already taken a shower in his room and was waiting when she came out.
He leaned against the bar with his arms around his chest and gently shook his wine glass in his right hand.
He had changed out of his suit and pants and was wearing a beige jumper and casual white leisure trousers.
The coldness and dominating aura from before was gone. He looked more gentle and warm like a man at home.
Shui Miaomiao stood a little further away from him.
Shen Mochen looked at her and her drooping eyes. “Not bad,” he said appraisingly.
“Thank you,” Shui Miaomiao replied politely.
Shen Mochen smirked and a malicious thought flashed in his eyes. “I mean was talking about my clothes,” he said.Shui Miaomiao was speechless. Her beautiful eyes looked at him and decided to play along with his words. She smiled and answered, “I am saying thanks on behalf of your shirt.”
Shen Mochen raised his eyebrows and asked in a puzzled tone, “Why should you say thank you for my shirt? Is there a relationship between you and its master?”
Shui Miaomiao found that this man is indeed eloquent. Every word of his was like a trap. She would be trapped inside if she was not careful.
Shui Miaomiao could not argue against him, so she simply ignored him. She went to the bookshelf and looked at the little statues in it.
One of them was a young girl holding the crystal of the moon on one side of her head.
The young girl’s face was clear and delicate with a pointed chin. Her face was pulpy with big eyes and an elegant soft smile. When she looked closely, she could see the clear eyelashes stuck above the young girl’s eyes.
Shen Mochen walked towards her and glanced at the crystal ornament of the young girl. He looked down at Shui Miaomiao with a gentle look in his eyes and asked, “Do you like it? I can give it to you.”
Shui Miaomiao only realized he was right behind her when he spoke.
She was a little stunned and embarrassed, so she replied directly, “I don’t like it.”
