Underground is where the Phantom and Lily went. Lily sang first.

Lily: In sleep, he sang to me. In dreams, he came. That voice which calls to me and speaks my name. And do I dream again? For now I find the Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my mind.

The Phantom: Sing once again with me our strange duet. My power over you grows stronger yet. And though you turn from me to glance behind, The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside your mind.

Lily: Those who have seen your face draw back in fear. I am the mask you wear...

The Phantom: It's me they hear...

Lily and the Phantom: Your/my spirit and my/your voice in one combined. The Phantom of the Opera is there, inside my/your mind.

Song: The Phantom of the Opera...

Lily: He's there, the Phantom of the Opera.

The Phantom: Sing, my Angel... Sing my Angel of Music, sing for me... sing... sing my Angel! Sing for me!

he gets out and sings

The Phantom: I have brought you, to the seat of sweet music’s throne, to this kingdom where all must pay homage to music. Music... You have come here for one purpose and one alone. Since the moment I first heard you sing, I have needed you with me to serve me, to sing for my music. My music... Nighttime sharpens, heightens each sensation, darkness stirs and wakes imagination. Silently the senses abandon their defenses. Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor.

The Phantom: Grasp it, sense it - tremulous and tender. Turn your face away from the garish light of day, turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling light - and listen to the music of the night! Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dreams. Purge your thoughts of the life you knew before. Close your eyes, let your spirit start to soar, and you’ll live as you never lived before. Softly, deftly, music shall caress you. Hear it, feel it secretly possess you. Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind in this darkness that you know you cannot fight - the darkness of the music of the night. Let your mind start a journey through a strange new world. Leave all thoughts of the life you knew before. Let your soul take you where you long to be! Only then can you belong to me....

The Phantom: Floating, falling, sweet intoxication. Touch me, trust me, savor each sensation. Let the dream begin, let your darker side give in to the power of the music that I write, The power of the Music of the Night. You alone can make my song take flight.

The Phantom: Help me make the music of the night...

The girl dorm and Joseph Buquet sang

Joseph Buquet: Yah! YAH! [sings] Like yellow parchment is his skin! A great black hole serves as the nose that...never grew. You must be always on your guard, or he will catch you with his magical...lasso!

Girl: Oh my.

Madame Giry: Those who speak of what they know find too late that prudent silence is wise. Joseph Buquet, hold your tongue- Keep your hand at the level of your eyes!

Back at the lair lily woke up and she sang.

Lily: I remember there was mist, swirling mist upon a vast glassy lake. There were candles all around, and on the lake there was a boat. And in the boat, there was a man...

Lily: Who was that shape in the shadows? Whose is that face in the mask?

The Phantom: Damn you! You little prying Pandora! You little demon! Is this what you wanted to see? Curse you, you little lying Delilah! You little viper! Now you cannot ever be free! Damn you! Curse you!

The Phantom: Stranger than you dreamt it, Can you even bear to look, or bear to think of me? This lonesome gargoyle who burns in hell, but secretly yearns for heaven, secretly, secretly, but Lily... Fear can turn to love, you'll learn to see, To find the man behind the monster this... repulsive carcass who seems a beast but secretly dreams of beauty, secretly, secretly...

The Phantom: Oh, Lily. Come. We must return. Those two fools who run my theater will be missing you.

They left and Madame giry was looking for Lily.
