Lily Rose

Chapter 2

Harry's P.O.V

"I'm just of to the bathroom quickly" I heard Lily's soft quiet voice talk for the first time in a few minutes. I was going to say okay but I realised she was already out the room before anyone could say anything back. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, something about Lily seemed really of, but I couldn't pinpoint what.

"Well, Lily certainly isn't very chatty today" Aden joked besides me, the boys let out a laugh trying to lighten the mood but I saw mom just sigh in the corner. Worried, I spoke up "What's up mom?" I was quite concerned over her worried expression and was curious if there was any problems I was unaware of. I could see Gemma looking at mom intensively like she wanted to say something, adding to my curiousness. I felt the air thicken with the tension growing in the room after each second of silence that flew by. The situation became very awkward. Me and Aden glanced at eachother, unsure what to do or say as the atmosphere shifted and became uncomfortable for us.

"To be honest we've been having a few problems with Lily - "What problems?" I immediately cut my mom of as my heart skipped a beat, my mind clouded with worry and questions. What does she mean problems?

"We don't know... She's having some beavioural issues. It was only the other day I got a phone call from your dad saying Lily was sneaking out and swearing at him" Mom said, her worried eyes met mine as she maintained direct eye contact with me, almost like she was secretly pleading for my help. I couldn't believe my ears, something wasn't adding up. I know Lily, Lily would never do that.

"Yeah, we try to be here for her but she is so distant and always seems to be so angry at us. I try to talk to her but she just shuts me out. Well, she never really talks to us anymore..." Gemma quickly talked after mom. I could hear the sadness and worry in her voice which broke my heart. There was only one thing on my mind, is Lily okay?

"Well has she ever mentioned anything to you guys?" Will spoke up, sounding just as worried as I was feeling.

"No" Both mom and Gemma said at the same time, shacking their heads.

I sighed, "Well does she have any problems at school?" I asked, there has to be a reason for this. I knew something was up the second I saw her, she didn't come up to see me at the airport which she always loved to do. She used to be my biggest supporter. And now? She couldn't even hug me after not seeing me for months.

Suddenly I had a realization. Maybe it's me? Maybe she is upset with me? Could this be why she's acting out?

"Again, not that we know of but she doesn't speak to us for fuck sakes" My mom exlaimed, sounding frustrated and exhausted by the situation.

Lewis gasped "Louise, Language!" He joked clearly trying to lighten the mood. He always was a joker and I knew he hated uncomfortable sitautions like this. I just flashed a worried smile his way.

"I know I'm sorry I'm just so frustrated by all this. It's difficult, I have no idea what's going on in her life" My mom sighed, I felt really bad for her to be honest, I knew she cared about and loved Lily a lot.

"Mom it's okay, I'm home now and I'll talk to Lily. Maybe she will open up to me" I told her, trying to take some of her problems away. The boys gave me encouraging nods. "We'll help" they said helpfully. Most importantly, I wanted to help my little sister and make sure she is okay. Not knowing what is happening with her is really crushing me.

I have no idea what is going on in her life. I thought everything was fine back home. I feel horrible. Have I let her down?.

"I'm going to go find Lily" I state, not wasting a second before I shout her name.
