Catra followed the curious kitten to Adora's door and knocked, to which she quickly swung it open. Noticing the hot red on her face, Catra chuckled. Adora moved clumsily into a leaning position against her door frame and looked down at the torn up kitten "Hey buddy, what's with the surprise visit?" Blue just shrugged and pushed past her "The other kids were making fun of my scars so I slashed their faces with my good arm, but then Ama didn't like that so she told me to go sit in the time-out... but it got boring so I slipped out the window and then I wanted to visit you so here I am!" He exclaimed loudly, clambering up a chair. Adora just blinked in response as she watched the little kitten practically curl up in the chair.

Catra was giving Adora a what the heck happened look.

Adora's expression perked and she chuckled nervously, she invited Catra back inside and sat her down on the couch, where she began to explain.

"I met Blue after the war. He was just barely alive.." Adora looked lost for a second, overwhelmed by the image of a starving boy, trying his best to get by in a world that saw him as a freak. She waved her hand as she turned over to grab something out of the nightstand beside the couch. Catra stared at her hair. Catra couldn't help it, Adora never used to let her hair down. Hell, she didn't know if Adora even brushed it. She stared at Adora's long, free falling hair spill carelessly down her back and onto her shoulders. She also noticed that her hair was starting to take on a lighter tone with age, once a dusty, dirty blonde, now a more sandy color. She reached out and started to run her fingers through it, it was soft and ran through Catra's claws like silk. Adora lifted her head and turned towards Catra, not realizing how close they where. The gap between their faces was barely an inch. Catra's heart began to beat faster with every breath.

Back in the Horde, sometimes Catra would catch herself tracing the details of Adora's face with her eyes. How beautiful she was. A red flurry of emotions overtook Catra and her mind was set on impulse, like a robot  Before she knew it, she closed the gap. Adora was taken back slightly, but didn't move away, instead she melted into it.

Then Blue called for Adora, disrupting their moment.

Adora quickly stood up and walked into the kitchen to see what Blue wanted.

Catra felt her face, her cheeks where warm, she moved her claws down and felt her lips. She could still taste Adora, it was honey and milk. She moved her hand down to her chest, where her heart beat like she just escaped death. She felt a lopsided smile creep onto her face.

Adora, you are something.
