I walked into the gymnasium and the coach smiled, nodding towards me. I nodded back as he motioned me over. I jogged over to him, slowing to a stop beside him.

"Yes coach?" I answered. Justin stood in front of him, smiling kindly.

"This young man said that you and your friends need to take a little bit to fix some... disagreements you have?" I looked at the both of them confused.

"Sorry Sir, but I don't think there's a problem." He gave me a yeah-right look as Justin stepped beside me.

"What I heard about third period tells a different story," he genuinely said. I sighed.

"Ye' heard 'bout that?" I asked. He nodded, and the coach shooed us away.

"Why are ye' tryin' ta' help me anyways?" I asked him as we walked towards the bleachers. He shrugged.

"I just don't feel like being a dick like Sue wants me to be," he answered. I nodded understandingly.

"So, you gonna talk to your brother?" He asked. I looked down before shaking my head.

"I don't think that's a good idea," I admitted. He let out a huff before picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"Ey! What the fock?! Put me down ye' jack arse!" I shouted at him, pushing at his shoulder and squirming around. He walked a distance across the gymnasium before putting me down. I crossed my arms, looking up at him.

"I might be small, but that was unnecessary," I told him. He chuckled before turning my shoulders around, so he made me look at Wildcat, Marcel, and Nogla. My brother stood in front of them all, staring up at Justin.

"Okay, we're fixing this right now," Marcel announced. I looked up at him before looking down to Brian. He stared over my head at Justin, not paying attention to me. I looked down at my feet, shoving my hands in my pockets. He's still doing it...

"Okay, so why are ye' ignoring 'er?" Nogla asked him, coming to my side. He looked over at him and gave a confused look.

"Ignoring who?" My heart shattered. A tiny gasp left myself as I heard his words. Nogla swung his arm around me.

"Yer twin. Do ye' know how much that hurts?" Brian still looked confused.

"I don't have a twin." I covered my mouth with my hands.

"Ouch. Little fucking much, isn't it Brian?" Wildcat asked.

"Much what? I'm telling the truth." My heart felt as if it was put inside a garbage compactor.

"Okay Brian, cut it out. Why are you doing it?" Marcel asked.

"Doing what?"

"Ignoring me ye' son of a bitch!" I shouted at him. He finally looked at me and scowled. He looked upset and my anger was filled with regret and guilt.

"Sorry..." I squeaked out.

"Ye' want ta' know why I've been ignoring ye'?" He asked, coming closer. I looked up and nodded.

"It's because I got a message from 'my' friend that; for the record, he's dating ye'. 'My' friend. I never wanted ta' brake off all relations with him because of a relationship he'd be in with a girl, so I always promised that I'd just ignore the girl. This time, the girl was ye'." He finished, breathing heavily.

"I-" I started.

"No. Don't. Ye' know the reason now. Just leave. I don't want ta' cause ye' anymore pain." I opened my mouth to say something, but he stopped me again.

"I said don't. I don't wanna hurt ye'." I could feel myself getting angry for not being able to speak my own perspective.

"Bro, I-"

"No! Can't ye' listen? Just leave! Don't ye' understand?! I don't wanna be the reason ye' attempt again!" He yelled. The guys all looked at me wide eyed as I curled my hands into fists. He shoved me backward, just out of Nogla's arm and I felt myself scowl at him.

"No! Ye' listen!" I shouted back, pushing him backward in return. "It's not real! Joe was just trying ta' get the damn bully off my back! Him, Ivan, Mack, all of them sent the messages ta' the girls! So just stop!" I pulled out my phone and opened up the group chat. "Here. Read the stupid thing. I told him not ta'." I handed my phone to Marcel and pushed through them, back towards the coach. He was watching the whole time along with the other students around him. I walked up to them and crossed my arms, letting out a huff.

"See? There's no problem. What're we doin' ta'day coach?" I asked, chipper at the end. He looked at me confused along with the others.

"Well, we were thinking about the weight room but then remembered you're in this class," he suggested. I smiled.

"Weight room sounds good. Lead the way," I told him. He smiled back.

"Confident again, are we?" He asked chuckling. I laughed before nodding. We walked to the weights room and started our day. Justin came in a few minutes after, saying that the guys were working something out. I knew they were going through my phone. Instead of a normal bench press or anything, I started wrapping my hands for the punching bag. Justin was helping some of the scrawny kids beef up with the weights. After I started punching and kicking the bag, someone started doing pull ups to my right, trying to start a conversation.

"Hey, heard you got into a fight with your friends," Ken lead on. I huffed and kept punching.

"Ye' hear a lot of things," I responded. He chuckled and did another pull up.

"So, is it true?" He asked.

"I don't fight. And I don't think they call me their friend," I answered. He let out a chuckle that turned into a laugh.

"What?" He cleared his throat to keep him from laughing anymore.

"You're so oblivious," he answered. I looked at him confused before continuing on the bag.

"What d'ye mean?" I asked.

"I mean, you somehow can't see that those guys wanna hang with you," he explained. I shook my head.

"Nah. They're just bein' friendly 'cause of Brian," I replied. He shrugged.

"Maybe. But let me ask you something. Have they ever tried to talk to you away from Brian before?" He asked. I took a few more swings at the bag.

"Just one," I announced.

"Well then you know that at least one is your friend. Right?" I shrugged.

"Maybe." I completed a final kick at the bag before sighing. "Sorry man. I just don't feel like getting inta' it all that much." He rested his feet on the ground, keeping his arms on the bar, leaning forward.

"It's fine. Don't be sorry. I wouldn't want to get into it either," he agreed, shaking his head. I nodded thanks before the coach announced the time for the guys to get showers and change before the class ends. I spent fifteen minutes staring at a blank wall until the bell rang.
