"Shona, over 'ere!" Mack called from the swings. I laughed as I jogged over. I took a seat on flexible plastic seat next to him. The chains rattled as he stood from his own.

"Where do ye' think yer goin'?" I asked, chuckling. He came behind me and set his hands at my sides.

"I'm gonna push ye'," he whispered. I chuckled and shrugged.

"I mean, whatever floats yer boat, dude." He laughed as he started to gently push against my back. I'd go so far then fall back towards him again. Once, he ran forward, holding the seat of the swing and the gravity pulled me down. I leaned backwards, turning upside down compared to his face that was merely inches from mine.

"Yer eyes really are amazin'. Even when t'ey're injured." I smiled at the compliment. He didn't know it, but that really meant a lot to me. I was never really one to be judged or judge others on looks, but it's rare anymore when someone that truly cares about me actually says something like that.

"Thanks man. Ye' always know how ta' make someone smile, huh?" He chuckled and nodded. Suddenly, something glazed over his eyes and his smile turned to a frown in an instant. His eyes held that same sort of emotion Franklin had when he tried to tell me something. Is that... regret?

"Shona, I-"

"Hey guys! T'eh park has a merry go round!" Ivan called from somewhere farther from us. I smirked at Mack as he had at me before he brought me back to the lowest level of the swing again.

"Ye' mean a merry Joe round?!" I called back. My eyes scanned the teens until they fell on Joe who was staring at me, scared.

"Do ye' know how long it's been since I've done t'at?" He asked as we all made our way over.

"Too long," Brian answered.

"Can someone fill us in?" Lui requested.

"T'ere was t'is old merry go round at aur town's park t'at was awesome," Ivan started. "Aur Joe 'ere, he liked ta' stand in t'eh middle while we'd all spin it. He'd stand f'er as long as he could, which was pretty long, bef'er he finally told us ta' stop. 'Bout a year ago, t'ey got rid of it. He hasn't done it since."

"And I won't do it again," Joe stated.

"Oh, c'mon Joe! F'er us?" Mack pleaded. Multiple other pleads came after, including some from Mini, Nogla, and Lui.

"Please Joe?" I asked. He looked at me and sighed, looking down and shaking his head.

"Well, if I don't, I know one of ye' dumbasses will," he announced, making us laugh as he climbed up on the wheel. We cheered as we each found a metal bar to hold. Joe braced himself in the center. He's probably preparing to make a fool of himself.

"Ready?" Brian asked. Joe exhaled deeply before nodding. We all started to push the bars with our right hands, making it go left. At first, we followed it around, but then let go and started pushing the bars one at a time. Joe cursed aloud as we laughed. I'm pretty sure I even heard Delirious's insane laughter through the commotion. It took longer than what we thought, but Joe finally requested a halt. We all yanked on the bar closest to us. I climbed up and kneeled next to Joe who was sitting on the metal.

"Did ye' miss it?" I asked cheerfully, laughing though every word. He shook his head.

"No," he smiled up at me with a new emotion I've never seen in his eyes before, "I just missed t'eh way ye' looked at me afterwards." I furrowed my brows as I helped him stand.
