"How 'bout we just get somethin' ta' eat?" Brian suggested. We all agreed and walked to the line of snack booths. We were mostly looking for an actually meal, but it was hard with all the deep fried Oreos and cotton candy around. We browsed the stands, some of the guys ordering while we're there.

"Scotty! There's a pancake spot!" I announced happily. I looked up at him and he was smiling happily at it as well.

"Let's go!" He declared, taking my hand. We laughed as we rushed over to a stand at near the end of the path. The others continued looking around as we stood alone in the line.

"So, do ye' actually like pancakes, 'er is this an advertisement?" I laughed out.

"Well, I'd be happy to be sponsored by the pancake maker, baker, cooks," he stumbled over what to actually call them. I laughed as he didn't decide and just kept going.

"But, they're not my actual favorite. I just like them every once and a while." I nodded in understanding. We stepped up to the makeshift counter and made our orders. The guy in the stand handed us our food. We looked around for the guys, but they were missing'. Absolutely gone.

"I think the others went M.I.A..." I claimed, scanning the crowd. Scotty laughed before taking my hand and pulling me to a table lay out in between some tents. No one but us was here. Probably from it being hidden behind the tents so much.

We ate our pancakes while talking. It was nice to talk to Scotty face to face alone again. We don't exactly get to talk anymore in art class and the guys are always around when we're near each other. We've just been texting back and forth a lot when we're bored. It's nice to finally get to sit down and talk to him again.

"You've got some bacon on your cheek," he said in the silence between our conversations. I reached my tongue to each side.

"Did I get it yet?" I joked, still reaching. He laughed and took a napkin, leaning over the table.

"Here, c'mere." I leaned closer since he told me to and he took my cheek in his empty hand. He used the napkin to brush off the piece of meat. I chuckled at how it tickled against my skin. He put his hand with the napkin down but kept a hold of my face.

"Shona... I-" He cut himself off with a sigh, looking down.

"Are ye' okay man?" I asked. He lifted his head up again, staring me in the eyes. His hand pulled my face forward as he began to get closer. We were inches away from each other and I was really confused.

"Yo! Scotty! Shona! Where'd you guys go?!" Wildcat's voice called. I looked in that direction and Scotty's nose brushed against my cheek.

"He's an idiot. I hope he know's that," I announced, laughing and turning back to Scotty. His face was red for no reason and he stood up, taking our plates.

"C'mon, let's go find the fucker," he declared. I stood up as well and walked with him as he went to a trashcan. We reunited with the guys after emerging from between the two tents.
