Vasileios felt an intense smell hit him once the door was opened. His eyes fell on the omega tied up and looking beaten up. His instincts went haywire as he saw his omega- his omega hurt and in pain. He saw the pup going close to his omega. Pup is fine. Pup is family. He let out a loud howl and jumped, his paws hitting the floor as he reached his omega, having turned without realising it. He turned back into human form and undid the clasps on his omega who was looking at him with wide eyes, his beautiful black locks covering both sides of his face. His eyes had a fire in them before they dilated on seeing him and then those eyes lowered and his omega threw his head back, offering his neck.

Vasileios bent down and bit down hard on the mating gland, feeling the bond form. He held his omega close, soothing him and then turned his head offering his neck. His omega did not hesitate and bit down. His omega then looked at him. Before Vasileios could do anything else, he felt like the air was knocked out of him and he came to his senses.

Vasileios shook his head for a moment and realised he was holding someone in his arms and he sensed the bond- subdued but there. His eyes met that of his omega's as confusion left them. His omega. He has found his omega, his mate.

"Can we save this for when our lives are not in danger?" asked Zuget both Vasileios and Ingram turned to see her exasperation and the absolute happiness in three faces, Stefanos, Niles and Aldrich.

He touched his neck and realised there was a leaf on his mating mark and the same in his omega's mating mark.

"We must get out," he said, his hunter senses kicking in, his grip tightening on his omega- Ingram. This must be Ingram.

His omega looked at him for a moment as if assessing risk and looked at Niles.

"Niles," he said again and this time, the younger omega was hugging his brother.

"We need to get out soon, brother. Come on," said Niles.

"Cousin Aldrich," said Ingram as he kissed on Niles's forehead and held him possessively.

"Don't worry. Our mission is almost accomplished. We will get him out of the throne. Now pup, we need to get out. One would have to be deaf to not have heard your Alpha's howl," said Aldrich and led the way.

Ingram watched his cousin leave, closely followed by others in the room. Soon it was just four of them- himself, Niles and two Alphas. Niles smelled like the other Alpha who was looking worriedly at Niles.

"He is your mate. You are mated," said Ingram, surprised.

"We need to leave now"

They heard Aldrich call for them.

"Yes, we should. The introductions can wait," said the Alpha gripping Ingram's arm. His Alpha. The man he thought he will never meet. Ingram has always distrusted any Alpha who is not family. However, his Alpha calmed him with just his presence. He had felt Niles's presence first and then the intense smell. Even when he was still tied down, he was enthralled by the scent. The scent of his Alpha.

Ingram tried to move forward but his legs gave away. His alpha looked at him and then picked him up the bridal style in his arms. Ingram glared at him. He is no invalid. But before he could say anything, he felt his world go black.

Vasileios was worried as his mate lost consciousness. But they ran. Their entourage was clearing the pathway for them. They made sure the corridor in the room was empty before entering the room. They poured some water on Ingram's face, waking him up. They entered the inner room. However, a man sat there, a silver knife in his hand, swinging in the deewan.
