Belle-Vie ~ French for "beautiful life"

The lady was rushed into the already cramped up hospital, beads of sweat running down her forehead and neck. As soon as she was noticed, the available nurses rushed to her aid calling out to the doctor and she was immediately taken into the nearest free room.

She gritted her teeth; bit hard on her lip; pulled at her hair, anything to lessen the pain. Although this was her third time going through this, it was still as painful and unbearable as the first two.

A nurse held her hand and began helping her with breathing exercises as she was carried and placed on the bed, her legs got spread open and the doctor began to gently press on her belly feeling the grown baby that was in her womb. The same nurse still held on to her hand whispering words of encouragement.

The doctors and nurses began urging her to push, but their voices sounded very faint in her ears as it was hard to focus on anything else other than the intense pain in her groin, abdomen, and back.

After trying to push the baby out for thirty minutes, the little devil finally came out and its tiny cries filled the room as the nurses cheered and the doctor wiped off the beads of sweat from his forehead.

The lady's eyes rolled to the back of her head as she fell back on the bed breathing heavily, almost trembling.

After a few minutes of trying to catch her breath and the nurses cleaning up the baby, tears welled up in her eyes as she was handed the tiny baby who would have to grow without a father

" c'est une belle petite fille, as-tu déjà choisi un nom pour Elle? (It's a beautiful baby girl, did you pick a name for her yet?)"

The lady looked down at her newborn baby, then looked over at her other two kids who were standing by the door eager to meet their new baby sister. She knew she wanted them to have a good life and was determined to do absolutely everything in her power to make sure that their lives wouldn't have to be anything like her's.

She placed a soft and tender kiss on the child's forehead, praying for blessings on her life and wishing her a beautiful and long life

I literally came up with the idea for this book at 2am on 2 June, so I went with it, sorry if it's crap.

This book is gonna be hella multilingual, yes the book is in English but some convos will be in French or Lingala but don't worry I'll have the translated meanings in brackets.

Facts about the book you should know

1. The main character is portrayed to be a Congolese girl from Kinshasa, the capital of DRC.

2. The people playing the characters are actors and some models I came across on Instagram. I obviously and clearly don't own them, but I do own the characters I created in this book as they all came from my imagination.

3. THIS BOOK IS A WORK OF FICTION

4. Lingala and French are languages spoken in DRC amongst many other languages.

Eh yea that's it.
