Dear Luke,

Today I went out with Violet. It was the most amazing time I've had in awhile. She was so cool and she carries herself very well. I think we might go out more often. I won't be calling you very much anymore because she says calling you will make me think I'm in love with you. She told me I should even stop writing to you. So I believe this will be my last journal entry Luke. I am sorry. But I will make this entry longer than usual, so that I can read over it in a few weeks and probably give these letters to you. I want to see you happy Luke, and if giving you these letters makes you happy, I will for sure give them to you. Of course that'll have to be when I'm not spending time with Violet. Luke she's making me happy, so would that make you happy? You always tell me that seeing me happy is what makes you happy. I want you to be happy.

So please Luke, be happy for me. I want you to be happy, really happy. And guess what? Violet says she has a friend who was just like us. Her name is Leah and I think she might be perfect for you. See Luke? I'm always thinking of you. I think we should all go out on a double date. Maybe you and Leah will be something in the future. I would like to see that happen. Wouldn't you like to fall in love one day?

So I guess I'll call you to tell you this in person. Because I don't think I'll be giving you these letters. Maybe I'll come over to tell you. Would you like that? I hope that we can stay friends, just not talk that often. Is that too much to ask?
