16. Meant To Be

We arrived at a mansion on the outskirts of Busan. During the flight, when my fear got away with Jimin's reassuring words, I joyfully watched the breathtaking view of many cities and towns of South Korea. There were moments when I was too happy that I even pulled Jimin closer to tell him what I saw. Like usual, Jimin didn't say anything but let me babble. Then, he would hum, nod, or smile in response.

At first, I thought it was Jungkook's mansion, but Jimin said it was his. Yoongi and Jimin were talking some other serious matters downstairs in the kitchen, while Taehyung pulled me upstairs to the room Jimin had prepared for me.

"Yoongi hyung and I will take turn to watch you during your stay here."

"Yoongi is willing to watch me?" I thought I heard him wrong.

"Oh, Yoongi hyung doesn't hate you that much." Taehyung chuckled.

I stayed quiet on my bed for a moment before I decided to ask. "Tae, what exactly that you guys do? I know you all work for ParkHere, but Jimin also mentioned other illegal businesses."

They were so secretive about it, so much that I started to get inquisitive. I knew they were the 'bad' guys but how bad were they?

Tae didn't answer right away as I expected; the atmosphere was a bit awkward. He looked away, scratching his head.

"I don't think you want to hear it." He nervously said.

"Is it that bad?"

"Uh... yeah?"

I looked down at the floor before raising my head up again. "You guys seem.... nice."

Taehyung's heartfelt chuckles reached my ears as he sat down next to me. "Jimin will tell you himself about your question. But I can give you some insights about our roles as a team."

My eyes twinkled in anticipation. "You have roles?"

"Jungkook is the most skilled in hand-to-hand combat. He is the best at any physical activities. He also works with Hoseok hyung as two IT men in our team. Don't trust his bunny face." Taehyung said as I half-suppressed my laughter.

"Jin hyung is good at observing people, like a spy. He usually makes sure everything is in order and safe. That's why he found you in the golf course because he was on his night duty. He's also my half-brother, but we never see each other as half."

"Yoongi hyung is aggressive and wicked. But when he's complaining about you, he actually likes you. Instead, he stays quiet and calm when he was furious or in the presence of someone he hates. At first, I admit that he wanted to kill you because we couldn't trust you. But when you get to know each other, he's just a sweet house cat. Oh, and he's an expert at guns. He was trained to be a sniper and an assassin."

I was rather shock at Yoongi's description, but beckoned Taehyung to continue.

"Hoseok hyung used to be an assassin, trained along with Yoongi hyung. But he's the best at technology stuff. He's very caring and positive. You haven't interacted with him a lot so you may not know, but when hyung is angry... uh... you don't want to see it."

"Namjoon hyung is kind of clumsy, but he shoots well. Jimin trusted him with all his heart because he's the smartest. He's like an advisor to the team. He's actually Jimin's secretary, though."

"And me, I am a sniper." Taehyung grinned.

"Come on, there got to be more than that." I pouted.

"Seriously, I'm just good at shooting." Taehyung smiled. "And I'm the closest to Jimin since we're the same age. Jimin does business really well, like the best out of us. He shoots well, too. He is second in hand-to-hand combat. And most important of all, he's an expert in swords."
