It was early morning when Caitlyn awoke, she yawned and rolled over in her bed eyes still practically glued shut. The blue haired girl sat up and cringed when the bright sun that shone through her blinds reached her eyes. Caitlyn wearily rubbed at her eyes and let out a soft groan slightly irritated already by the start of her day. Life as a cop in Piltover wasn't at all easy on the stress factor let alone her body. She barely got enough sleep as it is and the light nearly causing her sight to fail was the cherry on top of a good morning.

Caitlyn stood up and felt the blood rush back to her head, she slapped a hand to her forehead gently biting her bottom lip to bare through the pain surging through her head. After the pain subsided she walked to her bathroom and her icey blue eyes stared into her bathroom mirror which sat peacefully above her sink. She sighed and noticed the bags sitting under her eyes, her sleep schedule was terrible. Between keeping up with all her paperwork and dealing with latenight calls and crimes she had no time for luxurious amounts of sleep. She would take time off but in all honesty she knew how lonely life was without her work, she wasn't exactly an outspoken person. The only person she really spoke to without feeling like putting a barrel to her head during so was Vi. Dont misunderstand her though, Vi was trouble even more so than the rest at times. Caitlyn shook herself of the thoughts of her fellow partner and began to brush that beautiful dark blue hair. She took her time and brushed her teeth afterwards stepping into the shower to clean herself of yesterday's problems and grime. After she was done she dressed herself in her familiar purple dress and attire. Once she was fully dressed and prepared she walked down the stairs of her apartment complex leaving her room quietly. Caitlyn most likely could have lived in her own place or even in a slightly better living space with how much she worked. However she preferred the small apartment, somehow it made her feel more at peace in her busy life. Something so simple could bring so much more joy than something big and hollow like a mansion in her eyes. After she reached the bottom of the stairs she pushed dark hair behind her ear and clicked her car to unlock from inside, waving a goodbye to the man at the front desk she left quickly and hopped into her car. She drove nothing fancy but it wasn't a hunk of junk either, a dark black vehicle that she didn't necessarily know the name of. She pulled away from her apartment complex and drove with the radio blaring during her voyage. Caitlyn was always submerging herself into other worlds to escape her own at times, she found this a more relaxing way to relieve her stress built up over time. Once she arrived at the police department in which she worked at she parked and exited her car. She sighed and shoved her keys into a purse she carried at her side, she usually didn't bring a bag or purse to most places but with work it was just handy to have on hand.

As Caitlyn entered the office she was greeted with many silent hellos, pretty much anyone knew who she was at the office as she practically ran the place. She was no stranger to anyone who worked there and most of them were basically at her hand and foot. She made her way into her own personal quarters of the department sighing in relaxation when her rear hit the decent office chair she usually sat in for hours on end. Not even moments after she sat down she was jolted out of her relaxation when a certain pink haired woman nearly barged her door down. Caitlyn sat up instantly and her face was filled with pure shock and dare she admit fear, once she realized who had come into the room she settled back down and felt her eyebrows furrow. "Vi you know that i ask you everytime to ask before entering?" Her strong accent rode swiftly upon her words and she crossed her arms almost in a pout like manner at the taller female. Sometimes Vi made her so frustrated she didn't even know why she tolerated it, however she did have to admit they worked together fairly well in the end of day. Vi smirked upon entrance and walked to the other girls desk plopping a pile of papers on it, "Cheer up cupcake" she started to speak using that god awful pet name she had given to Caitlyn. "I know you're tired but we have things to do" she said with less sympathy than she tried to give off in her words. Caitlyn rolled her eyes at this and stood up to get a  better look at the papers shuffling through them with both hands. "What are these?" she started speaking before getting back to her on the previous conversation, "and by the way im not tired and when have i ever neglected work" she said clearly frustrated by her words maybe even offended. Vi shrugged and sat on the top of the desk leaning on one of her hands the other resting on her lap. "Sorry to break the ice but those trenches underneath your eyes bust your lie princess" the pink haired woman scoffed and raised a singular brow gazing up at the now taller woman due to her sitting down. Caitlyn sighed and audibly groaned at the conversation, "Vi please.." she pleaded in a breathy tone. Vi could tell she was clearly irritated so she let down the slight attitude for now, "fine" she started to speak pointing at some of the papers. "They're kind of like a map of leads, yknow how we've been searching for the group of people who have been trying to get under our skin for months? We think its them" the pink haired girl spoke proudly as if she actually did the work herself when Caitlyn knew damn well she didn't lift a finger.
