Chapter 39- Long Story

*Ansel's POV*

I'm so mad right now. Why did dad do this to me? Why didn't he let me see my grandmother once? I reach my car, got in, and slammed the door causing me to get death stares from people. I look at my hand which contained the letters. 3 envelopes.

I turn on my car and drive quickly. I reach into my house and knock on the door in a rude way. And for my surprise, Kate opens.

"Hiii" she says.

"Where is dad?"

And then, he appears in front of me holding a cup of coffee.

"Hey what's up An?"

"I need to have a serious conversation with you Harry."

"Wait wait wait.."

"What?"

"Is it about your job?"

"DAD COME WITH ME TO MY ROOM BECAUSE YOU ARE GETTING ON MY LAST NERVE AND MAYBE IM GOING TO KILL SOMEONE, FOLLOW ME NOW" I shout. I could feel my face heating up.

He looks at me and places his cup on the table, and we both go upstairs to my room.

We reach there, and I slam the door behind me.

"Calm down" he says while sitting on my couch.

"How can I calm down after I found out what you did?"

"What? What's happening Ansel?" He asks me with confusion.

"All my life I thought my grandmother was dead, but I found out that you were the one who didn't let me meet her" I say looking up.

His face turns red. Is he shy? Sad? Mad? Confused? What I saw was embarrassment.

"I'm waiting.." I say.

"You can't judge me" he says.

I let out a laugh and then turn to look at him.

"Look, if you don't tell me, I'm packing my stuff and I'm going to live far away from you. I'll never going to call you, either text you or meet you. I'll talk with Ariel and Kate. That's all."

And with that I stand up and walk towards him.

"You have a chance. In a couple of minutes, our life will be changed. Choose the right choice. You tell me everything or I'll leave."

After clearing his throat He took a deep breath and then finally says,

"Long story"
