Chapter 26: Lucky

Harry's POV

"How are you feeling, Harold?" The doctor asked me, smiling.

"Great. Now can I donate my kidney?"

"What?" He exclaimed, raising an eyebrow.

I rolled my eyes. "I told you already. I want to be Fiona's donor."

"No, you cannot. You just underwent a surgery, donating a kidney could be really harmful for you.. It could kill you!"

"And what about Fiona? She could die too! She's not less important than me."

He shook his head. "We will find a donor. But you are definitely not allowed to donate."

"But..."

"No buts. It's basically suicide. So no, you can't be Fiona's donor."

I shook my head, but stopped talking. I was annoyed. I had my fingers crossed, I hope they would find someone.

"Harry? Harry wake up," a voice whispered in my ears.

I opened my eyes slowly and saw Fiona smiling down at me.

I sat up quickly. "Fiona?!"

"Yup. I'm alive." She smiled even more. "They found me a donor and I woke up two hours ago. I had to argue for thirty minutes with them to be able to come see you."

I smiled. "I'm so happy to see that you're fine."

"I'm so happy to see that you're fine as well." She cocked her eyebrow. "And I didn't know you cared for me that much."

I rolled my eyes. "Of course I do. You're my girl- I mean ex."

She stopped smiling and just stood there, staring at me. I stared back and we were in a sort of staring contest until she leaned down and kissed me.

"I miss you," she whispered.

I smiled. "I miss you too."

"I don't think we should ever not be together, to be honest. We've been through so much, and yet I still had feelings for you."

We smiled at each other. She laid beside me on the bed and we just laid there, talking and laughing.

I was happy.
