I slowly opened my eyes, allowing the morning sun to creep into them. I stretched my legs and arms as I sat up. I looked to the right and looked over my handsome mate's features. He looked so peaceful as his chest repeatedly rose and fell again. Getting out of the bed, I went to the bathroom. I turned the light on and immediately noticed my neck. All of the memories from last night came flooding back to me.

I looked closer into the mirror and noticed all the details of the mark. It was really beautiful in my eyes! On the mark stood a white wolf howling, with the colors purple and black. It danced around the mark so beautifully, making it look as if the wolf was in the galaxies. To say the least, I was extremely happy!

I was so focused on looking at the mark, that I didn't even notice Andrew standing in the door way. I turned around and walked toward him, wrapping my arms around his torso. He looked down at me and smiled. Going on my tippy toes, I stole a kiss from him and walked back into the bedroom. He came behind me and lifted me off my feet, holding me bridal style.

He whispered in my ear "How is my beautiful mate this fine morning?" and then kissed my forehead.

"Quite well I shall say" I said while laughing.

He put me down and kissed me one last time before he started to get dressed. I sat on the bed for a moment thinking about what I was going to do while he went and did pack business. Getting up, I headed back to the bathroom and turned on the shower.

"You would!" Andrew said in a whiny voice.

"I would what?"

"Take a shower when I'm getting dressed."

I laughed, shook my head, and closed the door behind me. He wishes he could take a shower with me. I heard the door close and I knew he had left. A part of me felt missing, but I knew it was because of the mark. I shrugged it off and got undressed. After hopping in the shower I let the hot water hit my body, allowing my muscles to be relaxed. From that point on, I let my mind wonder.

• Andrew's POV •

I walked into my office and looked at all of the paperwork on my desk. It was really hard for me leaving Mariah. Yeah I know we are still in the same building, but ever since I marked her, I want to be with her at all times. I know she feels it too, but it won't be long until I see her again. I turned on my computer and watched as numerous emails popped up. About two hours went by and I heard a knock on my office door. I told them to come in, and to my surprise, it was Mariah's older brother Max.

"Is something wrong?" I asked, looking up from my computer.

"No not at all, I just wanted permission for something."

"Okay, what is it?"

"Well.. my siblings and their mates were just wondering if we could go out into the woods and hang out for a bit" he said, tucking his hands in his pockets. "I would ask Mariah, but she's sleeping."

"Yes, but stay in the territory. Oka-"

"Thanks!" he interrupted while running out of the door.

• Mariah's POV •

I jumped up from my sleep because I heard little feet and screams in front of my bedroom door. I opened my door and there stood my precious little Elli. Her red hair crazy, as usual, and she had the biggest smile on her face. I smiled back down at her and took her little hands in mine. Just as I was going to squat down to her level, another girl came running up the stairs.

"Elli, come here. Leave the Luna alone" her little voice rang down the hall.

I looked up and was greeted by a little girl with her beach blonde hair falling all in her face. She gave me a big smile back and her two front teeth were missing. I chuckled to myself and we all talked for a while. Come to find out, her name is Sarah. She is 6 years old and her brother is Ariel's mate, Ever. You can really tell the resemblance.
