Serenity's POV
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
{ Not Edited }I kept reading the message that was left over and over again.
"Such a shame, she had to die. I do not lie, so try, try, try. This is the beginning, or this is the end. Now you have to play. till we meet, my old friend."
The anger and rage that I felt deep inside seemed to poor out of me, I felt the electricity tingle in my fingers as tears also started to blur my vision. They killed Macie in cold blood, left her bloody and broken body there to rot. On top of that they have kidnapped Mariah's brother and time is running out.
We are preparing to do the switch tonight in which I will give Mariah my full powers, and pray it doesn't kill her mer human body.Lost in my thoughts I didn't realize Andrew was standing in front of me with a look that held so many emotions. He eyes danced with desperation, as his black shirt perfectly fitted his muscular body.
"I'm going to kill who ever did this, and we are going to get Max back." He whispered as he walked across the room. He peered out the huge bedroom window, and gripped the bridge of his nose with his thumb and index finger. He let out a huge sigh and he turned to me again, this time waiting for a good response.
"What are you going to do if she dies?" I questioned almost in a whisper, but enough I knew he would hear me. "We have to do this switch, and I need to you focused. Yes Max is missing but once we switch Mariah will be able to find them. There is nothing we can do for Macie she dead and gone."
"How can you be so insensitive about this Serenity!? I'm surprised you don't want Mariah do die!" He yelled as this voice seemed to boom throughout the room. "My mate will come back to me, all hell will break lose if anything goes wrong Serenity. I care about Mariah more than anything."
"I can't fix what's done, Mariah is my main priority. Our witch legacy continues with her." I stated standing up abruptly. "The sun is setting, let the separation begin." I stated walking out of the large brown bedroom doors.
The Warrior Wolf Counsel members, Andrew, his parents, and myself all headed down to a secret passage underneath the Pack's house. This particular room is sound proof no sound coming in, and no sound coming out. This switch was going to be painful and had to be kept under wraps. As we walked in the room, I felt the temperature immediately drop.
My heart along with it.
I had a bad feeling in this moment, as I laid fully down on the table. The stainless steal table was cold against my skin as I let out a shaky breath, closing my eyes. The bright light above me could still be seen as my breathing slowed. I felt the warmth of a hand wrap around my left hand, as sparks danced throughout my hand.
"What the survival rate?" Andrew looked at me stoned faced.
"Honestly...ninety percent." I said letting go of his hand. "But things go wrong Andrew, she has to want it as well. And after everything that has happened who knows if she'll come back to you."
"We need to start as the crescent moon is full in the sky." Stated one of the council members.
"This was nice ya know. While it lasted." I told Andrew with a smirk.
"You always have to have the last laugh don't you." He slightly chuckled and cleared his throat.
They strapped all of my libs down, a little too tight for comfort. I tried to move to her more comfortable but that only made me wince in pain. I knew forsure they were going to bruise.
