Mp3 Player. This was one of your attitudes that I disliked the most. You were spontaneous while I was a planner. We finally scheduled a proper vacation, so I was listing some things, thinking about what we should do. I asked you, and you just shrugged me off and told me to go with the flow.

I knew you were like that, but at that moment, I'd appreciate it if you listened. But you didn't.

You were insensitive.

You always knew how to make the butterflies fly, but you also unconsciously knew how to kill it.

So I stopped what I was doing and went downstairs to make myself some tea, hoping it would help me in calming down.

I was not a stranger in your house, so it was okay to go through your mother's tea collection. She did permit me, after all. I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, so I hurriedly poured the drink in my cup so that I can get away before you arrive.

I had this attitude of avoiding people when I'm upset because I knew I couldn't stop myself from spouting things I might regret in the end. But because of that, I spilled some on my hands.

"Shit!" I cursed, blowing my hands while I immediately scurried away. I saw you lounging in the living room, so I returned upstairs. Moments later, you went inside. I was about to leave, but you hurriedly put down a box on the bed and left.

I smiled.

It was a first aid kit.

I took it and treated myself. After that, I went downstairs. Our eyes met. You asked me if I wanted to stay there so that you can go somewhere else. I shook my head before coming closer to hug you.

You always knew how to act when I'm like this. You knew I needed some space before I can converse again at times like this. You, Ivo Oliveros, have always figured me out. That's why I couldn't be more thankful.

"I'm okay now." I whispered as I buried my face in your neck.

"I'm sorry." You ruffled my hair.

"It's okay. Besides, maybe I need to do things spontaneously sometimes."

You shook your head. "Let's do what you want, okay? Let's plan it all out."

I looked at you. "No, let's do it your way this time." I smiled. You were always doing things my way. I figured out this time, it's my turn.

"You sure?" You asked.

"Uh-huh."

"You're not."

"I am." I argued.

"I can see right through you, Clau."

"Okay yeah, I'm not." I admitted.

"But we're going to do this together, so I'm alright." I honestly expressed. I was unsure, but knowing that I was with him, I didn't have to be afraid.

-

"You packed everything you needed?" You asked.

"Yep."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, sir!"  I giggled. "I did a final check already."

"Okay, let's bid our goodbyes then so that we can get going."

"Clau, don't be too hard-headed okay? Listen to Ivo." Dad said, which made me pout.

I sometimes wonder if I was his offspring or Ivo because he favors him more than me.

"Take care of my daughter, son." I smiled at the way he addressed him. He was the only guy Dad was warm with, so I was delighted.

"Take care, sis!" Both of them waved goodbye.

"Let's go to yours? So that we can bid goodbye to Mara and Jean too."

He nodded, so we stopped by their house.

"Have a safe trip, you two!" Mara said. I kissed her cheeks and told her not to worry.

"Just tell us if he is taking a glance at other girls. I'll punch him for you!" Her sister said, so I laughed.

"I'll be sure to, Jean. Bye, take care!" I waved goodbye. I went to the car first so that they can have the privacy to talk for a while.

The room was splendid. I was looking around, and everything spells luxurious. I headed to the glass window, and from there, I can see the view of the ocean.

"Refraining from drinking our favorite milk tea was worth it." I told him.

"You bet." You laughed. You stood behind and hugged me from behind. I removed your hands so that I can go to bed. I grabbed a pillow from there and started to hit you with it.

"Pillow fight!" I shouted.

"Unfair! I don't have any." You said as you defended yourself. You couldn't get one, so you resorted to tickling me.

"Hey!" I said in between my laughter. "That's unfair." I was out of breath, so you stopped. But resumed when you noticed I was okay already. I tried to hit you with the pillow, but I couldn't when you carried and threw me in the bed.

"S-stop, I can't anymore! I might die!" I whined.

You burst into laughter.

"Okay, okay. Truce!" I raised my hands.

"More like you surrender, love." You said, still laughing.

"It's a truce. Wait for my revenge later." I smirked, and you just made a face.

You headed to where our things were and brought something out of your bag.

"Happy 4th anniversary." And then you handed me a portable Mp3 player. I smiled widely and brought out my laptop.

"Thank you, Ivo." I said as I hang my arm around your neck and your hands were on waist.

Most of the songs had a sad or solemn beat, but we were smiling as we danced to the music on the top of our bed.

"Happy 4th anniversary." I said and kissed you on the lips.

It took you a while to respond. I knew you were shocked because you know I had this promise to myself that my very first kiss would be at my wedding with the man that was going to bring me to the altar, the man who'll tell the Lord I was his forever. But at that point, no, long before, I already knew you were going to be that guy.

You kissed the top of my forehead after, and I couldn't stop smiling.

"I think we need to call for someone to clean the room." I chuckled as I scanned around.

You laughed. "I think so too."

We were messy Ivo, but good messy. And I wouldn't have it any other way.
