Fitting In

Hey guys trying to speed up my writing process but it isn't easy cause I want to write longer chapters

Maddie's pov
I woke up and looked beside me to a sleeping uma I walked to the window and sat at the edge of the window and looked at the beauty of auredon. Then Jay popped up in my head. I felt so sad thinking about him unlike Mal I wasn't tough and evil like she used to be and that was part of the reason why mom wanted to get rid of me. I felt as if I was a disappointment my whole life I've never really felt my mom be proud of me. I got up and made my way to the bathroom that was in our room and washed my face as if the water will wash away my sad thoughts. I got out of the bathroom and sat on my bed looked at the alarm  clock that was on the desk between me and uma. It was 3:35 and I was tired so I  plopped myself on the bed and thought of him made my chest tighten and soon I was crying myself to sleep.
*Time skip *
Morning
I lifted my head up to groggily to see if uma was still there..... And she wasn't there I got up went to the bathroom and found a new toothbrush and toothpaste with a note on it that 'brush your teeth and go to the kitchen our house is pretty small so it'll be easy -love ❤️evie -' I smiled as I read the note I put it away brushed my teeth and went to the kitchen their house was really not complicated. At the table was evie uma and the dude that opened the door for me yesterday and I'm assuming he was evie's boyfriend cause they looked pretty close and honestly cute together. I sat down at the table and looked a evie "thank you for the note you left it was pretty sweet" I said smiling at my friend.  "You should be expecting this type of stuff everyday" she said handing me a plate of waffles *ik in the movie they don't have real food on  the isle but go with it please *. "hey uma mind if you help move my stuff from my father's lair" I asked my best friend. She nodded and said " I'll bring Harry and Gil we'll need some muscle".  "thanks uma for everything you and evie have been nothing but amazing my whole life" I said with a smile. Uma got up she hugged me and put her plate in the sink and said " I'm going to shower I'll be back so we could go to you dad's lair". I nodded and she left. "hey evie can I use some of your makeup mine is at dad's lair so I won't be able to use it" I said "oh yeah sure you know how to do makeup?" the blue haired beauty asked. " well I had lots of time on my hands so I learned how to do really amazing makeup" I said finishing my plate and putting   it in the sink too. "wow nice what else can you do" she asked. "I mean I can sing........ Maybe mal used to adore it when I sang to her she always said my voice was special  I always thought the opposite though". She giggles at my last statement and then I look at the dude who opened the door yesterday "oh where are my manners I'm sorry I'm maddie Mal's sister and you are?" I said as I put out a hand to shake. He put his hand in mine and said "Doug dopey's son nice to meet you" he said. I took my hand from his and said " nice to meet you too, E come hand me your make up bag" I said we went into a all royal blue room an I gotta say it was awesome

I sat down on the bed as evie took out her makeup bag. I open it and start with my routine she sat in an arm chair beside the mirror "what are you doing" I asked as I put on my primer.
"watching you work" she said. " before I put on my colors do you have anything for me" I asked she nodded and got up. And got this

" its really pretty e thank you you're the best" I said hugging my friend she giggled and sat down as I did my makeup when I was done with the basics I got up and said "I'm gonna go to the bathroom and make my final look a surprise" I said with little giggle I entered to the bathroom and as soon as I closed the door I heard Mal outside great another one to surprise I said to myself. I finished my makeup put my romper on and the heels I put on some clear lip gloss and straightened my hair

I admired my work in the mirror before opening door and walking out to a amazed Mal and evie. Mal got up and said "you should do my makeup for the wedding oh and Btw you are one of maids of honor". "well it is my honor your royal majesty" I said mockingly as Mal nudged my shoulder then uma stormed in "you ready?" she asked. "Yeah I am" I said. Mal then stopped me" oh wait here is your phone it has the contacts of everyone you know "." thanks big sis "I said as I took the phone from her hands when I got out I heard her say" these words are like sugar to me "she said as me and uma giggled
