16. He's Awake

*Jordan*

Bursting into Stiles' hospital room he looked better than when we admitted him. I stepped to the side next to Melissa as Stiles spoke with the Sheriff. We all gasped as Stiles clung to his father in a hug. Something he couldn't do before the coma. I watched as Scott and Lydia spoke and hugged Stiles. Melissa and the Sheriff left sometime during that part. Scott drug Lydia out saying, 

"I'm going to try and notify Derek and the rest of the pack." 

Once they were gone it was just Stiles and I. 

"Hey." I smiled. He gestured me closer and once I was by his side he all but yanked me into the bed next to him. 

"Stiles." 

He just hummed looking at me innocently. 

"What are you doing?"

"I want you closer." He huffed rolling into my side. 

"Thank you for being cautious with my entire situation." He whispered.

"You're welcomed." I hummed wrapping my arms around him. The Hell-Hound inside is calm for once since Stiles' has been back in Beacon Hills."

"I'm so happy you're awake I whispered into his hair. 

"Don't leave me." he responded. 

"I couldn't even if your father held a shot gun to my head and threatened to kill me." 

"My dad is not that bad with everything is he?" 

"He's worse. Melissa and Lydia are the only ones who can get him to see it differently than he sees the entire situation. He listens to Derek the most though." 

"He's just scared. Especially since he lost my mom." 

"We know that, I know that. We are just trying to get him to see that you're here and alive even if you are traumatized. You are not dying. "

Nodding Stiles wrapped his arms around me, settling half on top of me and placing his face in the crook of my neck. 

"It's okay to sleep, Stiles. I'm not going anywhere." I reassured causing him to relax even further into me. Soon he was sleeping, allowing me to kiss the top of his head and relaxing into the hospital bed. He's awake and he's doing better. That's all I could ever ask for.
