not just a one time fling thing

chapter 3

~calm yourself down ~

I got back home at 4pm just before my parents were home , so  I went up to my room and started with some homework .

~to Vanessa ~hey would you be able to come over for  a little while ,I need to catch up with what I missed in our classes together ?

~from Vanessa~okay no problem ,I'll be on my way .

After  30 minutes the door bell rang  ,so  I ran down stairs to go get it and at the door was Vanessa.

“So you gonna let me in or we going to study from a distance ?”

“Ofcourse not ,get your ass in here .”

And Vanessa did as she was told so we went to the kitchen island and started catching up with some work.

“So would you like to tell me what actually happened between you and Ryan or should I just guess?”

“Okay fine ,well Ryan and I have had a few encounters with each other at a  few parties but now all of a sudden he won't leave me alone .”

“You what ?with Ryan Parker?”

“Calm yourself down okay ,I  was bored  and alone so he thought he'd entertaine me .”

Before another word could come out Vanessa's mouth my parents came in.

“Well it's good to see you catching up with some school work after today's  trouble .” My parents state .

“Umm mom...dad I'm so-,”I was cut off by my dad.

“Sweetheart we need to tell you something your mom and  I have some business in Thailand so we'll be going and we hate to leave you here by yourself but we know your responsible enough to take care of yourself ,well be gone for 3 weeks but if you need anything your grandparents number is on the fridge and you can contact them ,they will attend to any school matters and if needed get food for the house any papers to be signed by your grandparents ,is that understood?”

“Yes dad ?”

“Good now ,your mom and i's stuff is already packed so we will be on our way .”

So mom and dad were out the house as quick as they were in . Vanessa gave me a quick worried stare .“ are you okay ”

“Yes ,I'm good Vanessa .”

“Okay well I'm gonna go , seeing you've had a long day ,and its Friday which means  my family dinner bye , promise to call if you need anything ?”

“I promise .”

Once Vanessa left I was all alone in my house ,and I didn't know what to do so I thought I'd go into my bedroom and get changed ,so I changed into some comfy sweatpants and a baggy collage top ,and tied my hair in a messy bun and decided to cook some food for me cause I was an excellent cook ,if I could say so myself ,but as soon as I got down the staircase  the door bell rang so I decided to get it ,and once I opened the door I saw a  messed up bruised Ryan Parker ,I let him in without hesitation . And got him to sit on the couch.

“What happened ?”

“I umm ...I ”

“Ryan fucking Parker if you don't tell me what happened I can't help you !”

“Fine ,well when I took you to my house my parents were arguing ,but then they stopped cause they saw you were with me ,but once you left when I arrived back home from dropping you my mom was gone ,and then my dad started hitting me and swearing at me ,and yeah .”

“Im so sorry , Ryan is there anything I can do for you ,maybe call the police,”

“No ,no no! Please don't ,if you want to help me would you mind if I stayed here for a couple of days just until my mom's back ?”

And with that ,I kinda hesitated ,I mean id  never had a boy at my house and plus we hardly knew each other and he had so many friends so why ask me ,but when I looked at him I could see the pain in this boys eyes so I did something that I couldn't believe myself.

“Okay you can stay ,my parents aren't here they will be gone for 3 weeks so it should be good .”

With that I ran upstairs to go get the first aid kit ,and ran back down quickly ,I made my way to him and started cleaning the cuts up and covering them up .

“Thank you darling ,your always here when I need you .”

“Well I was just about too make myself some supper so I guess now it's dinner for two ,”with that statement Ryan suddenly had a genuine smile on his face and I was so thrilled to realise I was the reason why .so I started rummaging through the kitchen and decided to make some pasta ,and no I wasn't trying to impress him,I was just being nice cause of everything he's been through ,with that I  got two bowls out and put the pasta in the bowls and handed one bowl to Ryan with a fork ,and I jumped to sit besides him.

“So what you wanna watch ?”

“Ahhh you pick.”

“Okay how about Baywatch?”

“Okay cool ,I'm just glad I have some company.”

And as Ryan said that boom ,my cheeks started to redden ,and Ryan saw them do that I tried to cover my face from him seeing but he pulled my hands away from my face and set me down on his lap ,he started playing with my hair and stated “dont cover your face ,you look so cute when u blush” .And after that Ryan pulled me closer to him and  pressed a soft kiss against my lips .
