not just a one time fling thing

chapter 6

~ a hell of a week ~
Julia's pov

Well  ,well what could I say I was so happy ,to be with a guy that I loved so much , good news  is that Ryan's mom is back and has called the police on his dad ,so now he's back at home with his mom. And me knowing that my parents would be home soon I was estatic ,Elly had invited my family for dinner tonight ,so it was a plus .

“Julia can you hurry we probably are going to be late with you .”

“Sorry dad ,I just want tonight to go perfect .” I shout back downstairs.

Once I thought everything was right I made my way downstairs .and we were off to the Parker's house.My mom and dad waited as patiently as they could for me to press the door bell , so my mom pushed me aside and rang it and my family were greeted by Elly and Ryan .

We sat ourselves at the diner , table and it was so delicious well the food ofcourse , Elly could cook a mean meal maybe she can teach me how to cook like this .

I woke up on a Sunday morning  by the sound of my mom calling me ,to tell me Ryan was here to take me out so I got out of bed ,but as soon as I did I had this swarm of nausea over me I ran to the toilet as quickly as possible and vomited with my hair everywhere soon I heard the bathroom door open ,Ryan ran to my side, pulled my hair out of my face and rubbed my back soothingly.

He looks an me with concern, “Babe are you okay?” I stare up at him feeling so terrible, “Today is our  date, and I ruined it because I'm sick.” I pout at him and he tucks a  strand of hair behind my ear, I smile slightly,“
No it's okay baby ,I don't want you going out and getting even more sick.” so with that Ryan picked me up off the floor put some warm socks on and placed me onto my bed ,we layed there watching Netflix ,but I soon fell asleep ,I woke up the next morning feeling like shit so I got up and saw my mom in the kitchen,she had made pancakes ,she offered me some but i wasn't hungry, “No thanks mom I'm not really hungry.” She smiles a tender, yet concerned smile at me,“
Deary you should eat you slept for 1 whole day ,and you need some energy.” I shake my head in disagreement, “No, im good mom, but thanks.”

That day I didn't go to school.And I was really sick I was off if school for a week ,and my parents had to leave on another trip , Ryan was so worried that his mom and him decided to stay at my house and take care of me .

And today Ryan  went for football practice ,and Elly was out shopping so I had this Saturday to myself ,so I decided to call Vanessa to come over .

“Jules ,you've  been so sick lately ,and I hate to say this but you need to take a pregnancy test .”

“No Vanessa I'm sure I'm fine ,plus I can't be pregnant its not possible.”

“Well did you guys use a condom ?”

I started to think for  a while.“No we didn't.”And with my answer I knew Vanessa was right I had to take a pregnancy test.

“Your right Vanessa I need to go get one and take it,but I can't do it on my own.”

“And you won't have to we'll do it together ,we can drive to the pharmacy and get it now okay ?”

“Okay” . I put on some atleast desant looking clothes and we went to the pharmacy , but I kinda froze I couldn't manage to pick the box up ,so Vanessa grabbed one and went to the till and paid for it .After that she pulled me into the car and took me back home .

I look at her with sad eyes, “You didn't have to do that.” she grabs my hand
“Yes ,yes I did cause you would of never had the balls to do it and that's what friends are for ,now get your as into that bathroom and pee on the stick .”

We both started laughing at her statement.

So I went into the bathroom and  , thought may as well just get it done and over with so I took it out of the box and peed on it I sat it down on the counter to give it a few minutes to get a steady answer ,and after I lifted it ,it had two lines on so I searched for the meaning and it was positive ,I was 17 and pregnant yay me .

I got out of the bathroom and could see the suspension killing Vanessa ,so I told her it's postive ,so she took it from me and gave it a double check and yup it was definitely positive.I started freaking ,what am I going to do ,how am I supposed to tell Ryan and my parents ?

Vanessa takes in a deep sigh , “I love you but you know your going to have to tell Ryan, right?” 
I took a gulp of air ,“yes I know.”

Once Ryan and his mom arrived home I had prepared a diner for them so they got dressed a little decently and sat at the table , but now I knew I had to face the truth so I took a deep breath and I was ready.
“Okay so umm ,I've been really sick lately so Vanessa and I went for a check up ,and I ummmm I.... I'm pregnant.”

And with stating that they both looked at me with shock like they were speechless ,and tears started to roll down my eyes , Elly quickly rushed towards me and hugged me .
“Aww sweetheart ,don't cry listen to me ,it must of took you alot to tell us and take the test but I am so proud that you did ,I want you to know that it's gonna be okay sweetie ,I support you and Ryan and I think you would be great parents ,and I know this won't be easy but I will help as much as I can.”

I was happy that I had his mother's support but , Ryan still looked gobsmacked .
“Mom may Julia and I please be excused?” Elly looks at me with concern, “Yes you may.”
So Ryan and I left to go to my bedroom.he closed the door behind us and we both took a seat, he takes my hand in hin and gulps down the lump in his throat, “I'm so sorry for getting you pregnant ,but I want you to listen to me ,I love you and I'd do anything for you ,we both started this and I support whatever you choose ,I'm not going to leave you ,I'll be right here for you ,with you all the way ,your not alone .what do you want to do babe?”
I look up at him with tears in my eyes,
“Well ...I can't hurt the baby or give it away that would hurt so much ,so I would like to keep it.”Ho squeezes my hand and grins up at me. “Well then were keeping it!”
