not just a one time fling thing

chapter 11

~ holding onto the light ~

The next week Ryan was back at work,so I was home getting everything ready for the last few weeks of being pregnant, Danielle decided to help me get every last detail ,we worked really hard ,we added the girls names of their side of the room and now it was done , it looked perfect and I knew Ryan would love it .

I got into the car to go pick Ryan up from work as I wanted to suprise him ,with the finishing touches to the girls room . Ryan climbed into the car and gave me a kiss on my cheek ,“ Hey my love and two beautiful babies.”

I smiled at him lovingly, “Love ,I love you lots but please put  that blind fold on .” Ryan looked at me weirdly but did as he was told “ Okay! ,I love you too. ”

I drove home and helped Ryan into the house and up the stairs,once we were finally into the girls room ,I told him to take the blind fold off and close his eyes,count up to 3 and then open them again.So Ryan took off the blind fold and  closed his eyes ,he started counting “One ,two ,three! ”

When he said three I switched on the light ,and his face had this genuine smile on it .

I looked at him with excitement, “What do you think babe ?” I waited patiently for an answer .

“ I love it. ”

I woke up the next morning ,all by myself ,as Ryan had to leave for a business trip for 1 week ,and he said he hated to leave me but I knew I'd be fine.

I decided to get dressed ,and start my day .once I was dressed for starting my day I had a bowl of popcorn and I sat watching Netflix ,at 10:30 I recieved a text from,Elly asking if I wanted to go shopping with her ,so I answered.

~ too Elly ~ yes please ,I'd love to go ,just tell me the time ?

~ from Elly ~ okay deary,I'll be at your house in half an hour ,so be ready.

With that I went upstairs and took a shower ,I changed into some decent looking clothes and brushed my teeth and hair ,and I was all set to go .After I was done I made my way to the  door of Elly's car ,and we drove to the shops .Elly was buying all the clothes for herself and me .

I took a sigh, trying to get my point across te Elly, “Elly you really shouldn't.”

She smiled at me, “ Yes I should ,plus these clothes are for after your pregnancy so that you can show off your normal body. ”

I laugh, “Oh trust me I can't wait to have my body back to myself.”

We both started laughing.We went past a baby shop ,so Elly dragged me into the shop , and we started looking around ,soon we ended up buying some more things ,what can I  say we were excited and got carried away .

Once I arrived home Elly decided to stay over and make me a meal ,and it was delicious.I was actually enjoying her company .We decided to spend the night watching chick flicks on Netflix ,and it was lots of fun.

When I woke up in the morning I smelt pancakes ,so I ran down the staircase ,and went into the kitchen.And yup pancakes, I was  right.

“ Good morning Julia would you and the girls like some pancakes ?”Elly asked sweetly.

I grin like a maniac at her, “Come on Elly ,I thought you knew me , ofcourse I want pancakes!”

Elly and I both started giggling .We sat down and started eating our pancakes.

I got dressed for dinner ,with my parents and Nathan.I wasn't very excited about this dinner ,but I knew I had to go anyway.

Once I arrived I looked around, trying to find the table my parents were seated at ,and eventually I found them ,I made my way over to the table and took my seat ,  I decided to order a chicken noodle salad .

“ So Julia how are you feeling about the girls?"Nathan asked

I looked at him with annoyance, because everyone has asked thus question, like 1000 times. “Well I'm actually getting excited to get them out of my stomach as soon as possible.”

He smirks “ Okay ,well I guess your greedy. ”

I roll my eyes at him, “Haha says the guy who won't even let me have a piece of his bread.»

“ well cause I don't want you to get fat Jules. ”He's such an asshole at times, sometimes I wonder how we're related.

I sarcastically laugh, “I am already fat ,so I would much appreciate it ,if  you would pass me a bread stick .”

He rolls his eyes but nonetheless trots a bread stick at me . He chuckles, “Uhh ,just like old times. ”

Mom looks at us with happiness ,“No it isn't it's a new chapter for us all to start over ,and im so excited that we can mend all the empty spaces ,and make our family whole again.”

All of a sudden my phone beeped. I look at my family apologetically, “Sorry i just got to check my phone .”

“ No problem deary. ”

~ unknown number~ Julia I'm so sorry for everything I did to you ,and Ryan and Elly ,and I'd just like your forgiveness ,I want to be apart of my grandchildren's lives . That's all I ask ,I know you don't trust me .I just  really sorry ,I tried Elly's phone but she wouldn't answer so I thought I'd try you ,they let me out of prison ,and I was wondering maybe if you would like to come over too  Moomoo's milkshakes ? And meet me there now so we can talk .

Seeing this text I didn't know what to say ,but he apologized and I atleast had to give him another chance .

~to unknown number~ okay I'll meet you there now ,just leaving  .

I sigh, “Mom ,dad I hate to do this too you guys but , Danielle  just texted me and asked me to come over to help her .»

“ It's okay darling ,we understand you go,and drive safely. ”

I smile at my mom, “Will do .” And I was off ,I switched the radio on and started my way to Moomoo's milkshakes .

A grey BMW ,came and knocked the side of my car and the car went  rolling to the side of the road ,the glass of the windows shattered and ,some of the glass cut me. The only thing I could think was shit ,what do I do .But luckily Brian , Ryan's father came and pulled me out of the jammed car .

I look at him thankful, “Brian thank you so much for saving my life .”

He looks at me evily “ oh I did far from saving your life ,your lucky to even still be alive .”

I look at him with confusion, “What ? What do you mean .”

“ You ruined my  life ,if you never  came into Ryan's life I would of had everything,but no little miss nosey couldn't leave him alone ,and now you will pay. ”

Before I could move I was being pinned down by Brian,he kicked me in  the ribs and  started punching me and kicking me ,I screamed  begging him to stop but he just wouldn't stop ,I couldn't hold on no more I just couldn't ,I found my eyes fluttering closed ,and I knew this was the end.
