A/N: Ok, for the sake of clarity I would like to explain that in this universe Gotham and Metropolis are going to be somewhat close by to each other. I know that Metropolis's location has changed over the years, and there isn't just one specific area where it's located. But because I want to, I'm using the version where the two cities are pretty much an hour and a half to two hours apart. Gotham's in Jersey and Metropolis is bordering Delaware. Oh, and there's just gonna be a monorail or train that goes from the Gotham to Metropolis cause I'm lazy and I need there to be a somewhat quick way between the cities. Ok, that's that, now I'm gonna send u off to Chapter 7!

3rd Person POV:

Saturday in Gotham

Damian is many things. Intelligent? Yes. Violent? If you provoked him. Cold-hearted? With most people at certain times. The spawn of a demon? That deduction was confirmed by his brother. An old man trapped in a boy's body? According to certain conspiracy theories. However, social was not one of Damian Al Guhl Wayne's many traits. That is understandable, considering he was raised to be head of The Leauge of Assasins!

Nevertheless, that does not mean that Damian was unaware of how people acted. He could read body language as easily as he could speak. He knew how to get information out of someone without them even knowing what was happening. He could act "normal", as his family put it. He knew what was happening around him at almost all times.

That being said, he was aware of the gossip that there was to be a new student. They would be transferred from a school in Paris, France if the rumors were true. The fact that Damian's homeroom teacher announced there was to be a certain surprise on Monday did nothing but encourage the chatter about this mysterious Perisian.

He found it rather annoying that everyone was talking about a person they knew nothing about. Even Jonathan Kent (Damian's self-proclaimed best friend, and the son of Superman) seemed to be infatuated with the new arrival, and he wasn't even in Damian's homeroom. He didn't even attend Damian's school!

That didn't seem to stop the half Kryptonian from ranting on and on about what everyone's been saying regarding the new student. How did he even know someone was transferring to Gotham academy?

'If this is the only reason Kent insisted on coming to the manor, I'm getting the Kryptonite out,' Damian thought.

He was brought out of his internal monologue by someone shaking his shoulder. "Hey, are you even listening to me?" Damian rolled his eyes. He thought it was obvious that he had purposely tuned out his friend. "No Kent, I was not listening to you. I don't enjoy hearing you yammering on about something I have no interest in."

Jon gave Damian a perplexed expression. "So you haven't already compiled an entire dossier on the new student? Because every time you meet someone who you think is either suspicious or who will be spending time in your presence in any way, you've already gathered a record on them and their family."

Damian rubbed his temples. He'd gotten less than ten hours of sleep in the past five days, and Jon's annoyingly upbeat and loud voice was not helping his headache. "Stop being so noisy. Better yet, could you just not talk for the rest of the year?" Damian practically spits out the words.

Jon, already use to Damian's cold exterior, was unfazed by this. "You still didn't answer my question. Did you or did you not research the transfer student?" Jon may be almost immune to Damian's harsh words, but that did not mean he was ignorant. He could tell his friend was rather cranky, so he spoke softer, as to not agitate Damian's headache.

Damian, grateful that Jon was being quieter, relented to answering the Kryptonian's question. "As much as I hate being uninformed, especially when the only information I have is based on rumors and gossip, I don't exactly have the time to research. Todd was out patrolling about a week ago and he discovered some rather disturbing news."
