Chapter 7

Lily P.O.V

"Are you okay?" Corey asks touching my back gently. Natan opens up my locker for me and grabs my books.

"Yeah I'm fine..ow." I mutter leaning against the locker. The pain starts to subside as I close my eyes and think of Vice.

"What do you think is wrong?" Natan asks me closing my locker.

"Girl problems." I lie chuckling and grabbing my books. It still hurts but I can't let them think something about me having sex.

"Oh! That makes a lot of sense." Natan chuckles putting his head back in laughter.

"Hey Natan!" Some girl runs up to him. Well actually three of them do. They looked plastic and phony.

"Do you know if your brother is coming tonight?" The girl squeals holding the books to her fake ass boobs.

"Tonight?" I raise an eyebrow looking over at Natan and Corey.

"Yeah tonight is just some party for seniors." Corey adds shrugging his shoulders. I nod my head and feel a ping of jealousy in me.

"Yeah he is, but he is only staying for an hour." Natan says creasing his eyebrows.

"Thank god! It would have been a boring party without a hot guy." The girls squeal walking off bumping my shoulder. My blonde hair goes to my back as I scoff and stare into space. Of course every girl thought he was hot. Maybe I wouldn't be enough for him?

"Well onto the last class of the day guys." Natan huffs putting his arm around Corey. I look over at them and smile.

Maybe someday Vice and I could be like that? Public.

"Come one Lily your going to be late!" My mom yells from downstairs. I curl my last piece of hair and put on my whiter flower dress that had two thin bows on each shoulder.

I walk down the stairs and I see Natan, Corey and Vice waiting talking to my sister. Vice was the first one to look up at me. His mouth dropped and looked away. Well he tried too.

"You look beautiful Lily!" My sister hugs me breathing into my hair.

"Thanks." I reply looking over at Vice for a second. I smile and hug Natan and Corey, but I high five Vice.

"Well I think we have to go." I proclaim dragging Natan and Corey out of the house. We laugh as I trip over my high heel shoe.

The car ride had me changing my shoes to sneakers and singing music as loud as Natan and me could.

"I'm going to sit down for a few minutes." I announce as I see Natan and Corey nod there head and walk to the dance floor. I walk up to the third stair and sit down. I watch as Vice looks at me and tilts his head. He nudged his head to the left and walks away.

I look over at Natan and Corey laughing and dancing together. I smile and walk to the hallway. My vision becomes blurry as I see Vice and a girl talking. I stand there and look at them.

She laughs and pulls him in for a kiss. I've had enough then and walk the other way.

"Lily!" He yells running to me. I cross my arms and walk out the doors. I sat down at the bench outside of school.

"You can't runaway from me like that Flower." He sighs walking up to me. He sits down next to me and puts his hand on my thigh.

"Don't call me Flower." I scoff standing up and walking away. He grabs my arm and pushes me into the school wall.

"She kissed me Lily." He says grabbing my hand for me to pull it out of his touch.

"You don't care about me Vice, just admit it. You just wanted my virginity and you got it since I was a fucking fool to think you meant when you said you loved me." I scoff walking away from his touch.

"Lily I meant every word. I fucking drive you to school when I had to go to work! I've loved you since I saw the shy blonde hair girl that's my little brothers best friend! She kissed me Lily. I would never do that to you." He yells walking closer to me with tears in his eyes like mine.

"I was so stupid to think that you wanted me." I mutter shaking my head and looking up at him.

"You know you got your wish Vice, so just leave me alone." I cry walking away wiping all the tears that fall down from my cheeks.

I hear him call my name again but I ignore it. I had to get this dance over with. I didn't need Natan asking where I was or why I was upset.

"Hey where were you?" Natan yells through the music.

"I'm not really feeling good! I think I'm going to go home!" I yell back shrugging my shoulders.

"Ok! I'll tell you about the rest of the night tomorrow!" He yells nodding his head. I walk into the silent hallway and call my sister.

"Lily aren't you suppose to be at your party?" She says confused from the other end of the line.

"Can you just pick me up?" I ask sighing and wiping the one tear that fell down my cheek.

"Yeah, of course. I'll be there in five." She says hanging up.

I put my legs up to my chest leaning my head on them. I cry my eyes out trying to not get mascara on my white dress. I see my sister pull up and I run to the passenger seat.

"What happened Lily?" She asks looking over at me. I shake my head and cry in my hands.

"I just want to go home." I try to say through my cries. I lean my head on the window as my eyes burn from my makeup getting in my eyes.

As she parks the car I run in the house. I try to open the door but it's locked. Amy runs up and unlocks it with her key.

"What happened!" My mom yells running up to me. I lost my breath for a few seconds. I couldn't let them know and ask questions.

"I really just need to go to bed." I shake my head and run up the stairs, but am stopped by my father saying something.

"Is it about that boy that came to our house? I'll kick his ass." My mother hits his shoulder and looks up at me. I turn around and don't say anything. My mom sighs and looks at my father.

"Why-why would you think that?" I shutter from all the crying. I take off my sneakers as I hear a response from my father.

"I've been in love with someone too Flower." He adds smiling at me. That name.

"Don't call me Flower ever again and I'm not in love with him!" I say running up the stairs. I slam my door shut and take off my dress. I walk into my bathroom and clean up my makeup.

I run the water in the bathtub and sink down in it. The warm water helps my body aches. I hear my bedroom door open up and I see my sister covering her eyes. I cover my naked body as good as I could.

"What do you want?" I ask bitterly hugging my chest tighter.

"I was just going to say I'm leaving and I wanted to say bye." She replies and high fives me.

"See you tomorrow." She adds walking out. I sigh when she's gone and cover my body with a towel. I wasn't suppose to be alone tonight. I was suppose to be with Vice. I know he didn't kiss her, but I was mad and hurt he even let it happen. He knew she was trying to do something but she still talked to her. I put my sweatpants and sweatshirt on.

I lay down in my bed and get under the covers. I rest my head on the pillows and close my eyes and fall into deep sleep.
