Lily P.O.V (two months later)
I walk up on the stage and sit down in the second row. I look out at my family and look at the empty seat next to Natan. I frown and look down at my hands. Our principal starts off by introducing the speeches. I look over at Julis who smirked and rolled her eyes at me.
I didn't car about what she said anymore. I moved in with Vice and he loves me. If he did he would be here right this second but he's not. I continue to look at the empty seat and sigh.
"Thank you Kyland Sharten for giving that beautiful speech." The principal announces bringing me back to reality. I put my hair behind my ear and decided to actually listen.
"Now for the moment everyone has been waiting for!" The principal says telling us to stand up and move the string from our caps the other way. We all throw our hats in the air and I laugh as mine falls right back down to me.
"Before we go, we have a special speech." The principal says unexpectedly. I look at everyone as they whisper to each other. The principal sits down in her chair at the other end of the stage.
I watch as a guy in a tux walks up on stage. I watch as he makes his way to the microphone. I hear two people say something to each other I can't make out.
"Thank you principal Smith and for you who don't know me I'm Vice Bryant." I look straight up at him and gulp down my nervousness. My hands and legs start to shake as he continues.
"This year my girlfriend is graduating. She's had a though year, but she pushed herself through everything. So since today is the most important day to her, I want to ask her the biggest question of her life." He finishes as I look up at him with tears in my eyes.
"So Lily Willson will you come down here?" He asks turning my way. I take a deep breath and wipe a tear from my eye. I feel everyone eyes look my way as I stand up. I make my way over to him slowly and try not to cry but I fail.
He smiles down at me and pulls out a velvet box. I cover my mouth as I hear gasps. I let my hair fall to my shoulders and in front of my face. He mouths to me "are you ok?". I nod my head and flip my hair back.
"Will you marry me?" He asks me through the microphone. I nod my head and let the tears fall down my face.
"Yes! Yes, of course I'll marry you." I choke out through my cries as I hear claps all around me. He slides the ring on my finger and grabs my cheeks and kisses me like his life depended on it. I look up at him and hug him.
"I love you." He whispers into my hair.
"I love you too." I chuckle pecking his lips again. I watch has my family stands up and claps. I laugh as Vice's mom and mine jump up and down with each other.
This was the best day of my life. This was the end of everything. Well not me, but our story.
