I let out a huge sigh, rubbing my eyes with my palms.

My mate was sprawled out on the sofa opposite me, flipping through pages of an old book trying to look for anything useful that we might be missing.

Kate was murmuring some words, then yawning in between. Keith was sorting out some more old books that we needed to check out.

Danny, well he was on the floor, with a book in front of him,but really, he was sleeping. Lumi was just pacing back and forth.

"Would you stop pacing so much?". You're giving me a migraine", I state as she sighs and slumps on the floor.

"I'm sorry, I just can't help it. We are running out of time", she replies and I nod. Like I didnt know that already. She didnt have to rub it in.

My mate gives me a soothing look,  a look of hope and reassurance. She gets up, book in hand and makes her way over to Kate.

"Look, I dont even understand what these things mean. It's so fucked", she groans while kate just snickers and grabs the book from her. They touch and kate freezes for a second and lets out a loud scream.

"What, what, I'm up!", Danny yells jumping up from the floor into a fighting position.

I resist the urge to roll my eyes.

Keith immediately places a hand on kate, while I rush over to Adri, who is mostly shocked.

"What was that for?", lumi asked. Yeah, what was that for.

"Kate, what's wrong?. You just froze then you screamed", Adrianna supplies. Kate just whispers and the tears start flowing freely. "Adri, I don't even know what it means. I saw....adri, you must not fight", she mumbles, hands shaking.

"Babe, calm down. What do you mean. What did you see?", keith asks his mate calmly and she just cries.

"Adri, please don't fight...it..something bad is going to happen soon", she says staring at Adrianna with pleading eyes.

"What did you see Kate?", I asked. She opens her mouth to speak when all of a sudden, the alarm goes off.

That's the alarm that goes off when we are under attack. What the fuck. It can't be!.

We are under attack!. We are being attacked!. It's an ambush!. One of the guards yells through the mind link and I growl.

"Keith, Danny, we have to go!. We are being attacked!", I yell as they both growl bearing their fangs.

"I knew it!. I felt it!", lumi yells as she growls. "I'm fucking going to get the women!", she states then looks at my mate. "You coming?', she asks Adri who nods, a hard look on her face.

"Wait, you can't go!", kate yells. A part of me wanted to tell my mate to listen to her best friend. We could handle this without her.

"Adri, maybe you should listen to kate", I begin but she cuts me off. "Dont you even dare. I have waited for this moment long enough. Whatever kate saw is probably from her nerves or something. Nothing will happen. This is my pack.  I have to fight!", she yells back and I wrap her in my arms. "I'll protect you with my life. I love you. Be careful", I said pulling away from her and walking out mind linking Keith and danny. I couldn't bear to turn around and see her. I already knew what I had to do. And she would be angry but I couldn't let her fight. Keith and danny say goodbye to their mates and hurried behind me.

Tell them to do it, she can't fight. I mindlink keith who nods and sends the message. I just hope my mate forgives me.

Assemble all the male warriors!. Protect the Cubs and the old women. Secure the borders!. I bark orders through the mind link. Dear moongoddess, please help us.

I have waited for this day for so long.

After my mate died , I never imagined I would have this feelings for someone else, I never thought I would find love again.

When my mate died, I swore I would avenge her death. I loved to find Zurchi and give him a cold, slow and painful death. He would regret taking my mate away from me.

After several years of tracking him  which wasnt in anyway easy, we finally found him. I had the help of Theresa's brother who was equally as blood thirsty as I was.

We became brothers because we wanted to avenge the death of someone we really loved.

When we finally got Zurchi's hiding place, we attacked in full force. Being the conniving bastard he was, he wanted to get away using spells and incarnations but I had a secret weapon of my own.

I was able to get someone on the inside who spied on him and gave us all the information we needed. By the time we attacked him, we had almost half of his coven on our side. So it was very easy to rip each part of his body one by one.

It was very pleasurable if I must say.

Watching him groan in pain as I took out his fingers, toes, legs, arms, then finally ripped his head off.

At long last, I avenged my dear Theresa.

Zurchi was a wizard, he really loved theresa, eversince they were little and he felt theirs would be the first in history where a were-jaguar and a wizard would be mated but I came into the picture and Zurchi could never take no for answer.

It was either him or no one. Then he killed her. And now, I've had my revenge and I got to take over his coven.
I had a total of 150 witches and 250 wizards at my disposal and they would all help me fight tonight. Plus the rogues that he formed alliances with before I found him.

The bastard was planning on attacking my territory, little did he know I was always a step ahead of me. He had been visiting rogue packs making alliances with them promising them that after he killed me he would form a unified force and they would all belong to one pack.

Now I had his witches, his wizards,and his rogues at my disposal. That motherfucker gave me an army.

This monster he created would be the one to finally end him and I did.

I would get my Adrianna tonight. The one for me. I tried doing this the easy way, but her mate's been proving stubborn so tonight, I would attack them and take over their territory, make it mine. I would become unstoppable!.

"We are ready to attack", Andrew said walking into my office, his face held no emotions whatsoever. I gave him Zurchi's head after we killed him. He deserved it. "All the witches are in position, the wizards too. And the rogues are ready. But what I dont get is why we are doing this now. We agreed we would attack that territory tomorrow", he said and I gave him a small smile. That's because we have a fucking spy but I didnt want to tell him that. I wanted to murder that bitch and her entire family right in front of Daniel Cole. That's what she gets for being an ungrateful pussy.

"I just want to get this over and done with. Let's go", I said,  I could feel my eye colour change to blood red. Adrianna, I'm coming for you and I won't hesitate to kill anyone who gets in my way.
