"I can't cook to save my life",Daniel grins,I scoff in reply.I mean,what if we went on a vacation or something without the help and I was ill and stuff.Would I have to eat canned food?.I'm thinking ahead people!.
"You are so unromantic.I mean what if I'm ill or something in the future,no house help to cook.What would you do then?",he just gives me a sheepish smile.I groan loudly,I like men who can cook.
My dad is an amazing chef.
Currently,we are all in the living room right before the kitchen,Zach is sprawled on the floor,Danny and Lumi cuddling on the love chair while my mate is on the sofa,me cuddling my mate's chest,sitting on his lap.God I love his body.We chose to stay close to the kitchen so Danny could check on the sauce he was making.
There was still no sign of Kate and Keith.
"Still no sign of those two.I'm kinda scared",I grimace at the thought of my bestie literally burying her mate with heavy words.
"They might be making out or something",Lumi pipes up with a wink as her mate sends her a pinch.Just before she was about to react to what her mate did,there was a loud scream.
"What the hell was that?!",I yell shooting up from my mate's laps.
God,I miss his warm body already.
Really Adri?..that scream sounded like Kate.
"It's Kate",panic coating my voice.What happened now?.Coming here was a bad idea after all.
"I think I spoke too soon",Lumi says getting up from the love seat,followed by Danny.Zach too had gotten up from his sprawled out position on the floor.
"That's definitely from the riverside,where I left them",he confirms as I immediately raced over there.Daniel and the rest in tow.God they really need to just get over this phase and move to the honeymoon phase already.
Finally arriving at the riverside,Kate was raging mad.What in the world did Keith say to her?.I've never seen her this mad.Keith looked equally mad too.Kate's back was to us and Keith was facing her,glaring at her.Okay,he had a look of rage in his eyes too.
"I'll drown you!.You have no right to talk to me that way.You bloody don't own me and FYI,you cannot police me!",my best friend yelled at her mate.
"Just to be sure,can Keith swim?",I ask in a monotone voice as four werewolves look at me like I've gone berserker."What?.I'm just looking out for Keith",I simply state.
"Of course he can",my mate supplies.
"And she could never drown him,they are too far away from the water",Danny states the obvious,I shrug at his words.
Yeah,he is right.She couldn't drown him even if she wanted to.
"And you have no right to flirt with any male werewolf in sight!.You are my mate!",Keith seeths.
Raking her left hand through her chocolate hair,my best friend screamed again,we all winced.
"Man,can she scream",Zach mutters.
"She has amazing banshee abilities",I say supressing a smile,they all stare at me like I've lost it.
"Shouldn't you at least try to calm your best friend down?",Lumi asks as I shake my head.
"No way in hell.The last time I tried to separate Kate in a fight,I ended up having a broken thigh bone",I say.
"I think it's best we all just watch",she smiles sheepishly.
