                                              You'd finally managed to persuade Hermione to let you come with her, or so you thought.
                          "Hermione? Can you grab my bag?" You called through to her, your back turned to her. 
                          "Sure." She said with a small smile before walking out of the room, round the corner for a moment, before returning, standing in the doorway, unnoticed. 
                          She couldn't let you get hurt, she'd never forgive herself, but she couldn't risk you looking for her, because she knew you would. So she had to make you forget her, forget everything you ever did with her, everything you knew about her. Even forget yourself, she had to make you forget everything, only then would you be safe.
                          "Obliviate..." She whispered, pointing her wand to you. 
                          Maybe she'd find you eventually, when all this was over but the problem was, she would know everything about you, but she would mean nothing to you.
                          And that was something she had to come to terms with.
