You watched your boyfriend retreat from the large hall; immediately growing worried for him.
He looked like he hadn't slept for days; you barely even saw him now.
And he explained nothing.
"Draco?"
You spoke as you entered the boys bathroom.
He snapped his head round; instantly locking his blood shot eyes with yours.
"Draco; please tell me what's going on."
You pleaded; stepping closer.
"Y/N; get back!"
You flinched, a tear rolling down your cheek.
"I love you Draco; you know that right."
"Can't you see it Y/N?"
"See what?"
"That I'm just a monster! All this time I've done nothing but ignore you."
"Draco..."
"I'm sorry Y/N, But I need to keep you safe; they can't know."
"Know what?"
"That you're the only person who makes me feel something; the only person who I love."
"What are you saying."
"We can't be together; I need you to stay away from me."
"Draco please..."
"I'm sorry..."
He turned; walking to you, protectively wrapping his arms around you, placing his lips on yours.
And then he was gone.
