Four: Annabelle

I'm pretty sure you guys know what Annabelle is, in case you're uncultured swines and don't I'll do some explaining.  

Annabelle was a doll given to a student nurse, Donna, in 1968. It was reported that the doll was behaving strangely. Donna and her roommate Angie began finding notes written on parchment paper around the house containing messages such as "Help me, help us". Both swear they did have any parchment paper in the house.  The Annabelle doll began appearing in different rooms all over their home, and sometimes appeared to be leaking blood.

Then the doll attacked a friend of the girls, Lou. Lou was taking a nap at Donna and Angie's apartment, he woke to find the doll staring at him. He felt like he was begin strangled and had deep scratches on his upper body.  It was clear there wasn't in intruder, so they turned to a psychic for help. 

A psychic medium told the student that the doll was was inhabited by a girl, "Annabelle", who had died on their property at seven years old. The student and her roommates accepted the doll's behavior  and even nurtured it, Annabelle was reported to exhibit frightening, and even evil, behavior.  

A priest performs an exorcism on the women's apartment. The Warrens, founders of a museum in Monroe, Connecticut with "the largest array of obscure and Haunted artifacts", agreed to take the doll. But they barely got there safely.  With the doll in the backseat, it seemed to possess the car. Shutting off power steering and breaks around dangerous curves. Ed Warren had to sprinkle holy water over the backseat to make it there. The doll was then moved to a glass box at The Warrens Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut. 

That wasn't the end of the dolls evilness. When visiting, a priest dismissed the doll's powers and was involved in a near-fatal accident on the way home. The doll has supposedly killed. When a visitor to the museum laughed at the doll and banged on the case the Warrens kept her in, he was asked to leave. But he and his girlfriend were riding on his motorcycle on when he lost control and ran into a tree. He died instantly, the girlfriend survived but was hospitalized with severe injuries. That is not the last of it, there are many reports of people being hurt or killed after bothering the doll inside it's case. 

Even now it is recommend not to bother the doll, unless you have a death wish then do as you please. 

I have actually visited the doll with some friends, they wanted to stay away from it her but I pranced my little ass over there, went up to it, called it "pretty", bowed slightly and left. Nothing happened to me, but my friends got hurt a few days later after being hit by a car when driving to school. I choose to think the two things weren't related because my friends did nothing to the doll, but you never know. And yes, I bowed down to a doll. Don't fucking judge me.
