~~~~~~~~~~After school~~~~~~~~~~~~
I slipped into Alexander's limo as quickly and swiftly as I can. Obviously, it seems I wasn't fast enough.
"What do you think you're doing?" Asked Jessica, walking up to Alexander's limo.
"Umm," I have to be careful of what I say to Jessica, because she's the schools gossip central.
"I'm giving her a ride home." Alex said bluntly.
The freaking idiot!
"Yeah," I agreed weakly. I gave Alexander the "you're an idiot" look. Of course, he took offense.
"Well that's nice Alex," Jessica cooed. Blech! Then her tone turned sour, "but I don't see it relivant. Your parents are friends, not you. I don't see why you have to take her."
"Really?" Alexander asked smiling. What is he up to?
"Yes really!" Jessica said smiling as well, glad that he understood her point.
"Umm. . . okay." He must be oblivious of the tremendous crowd that has gathered, or he wouldn't have said this next. "I won't take her to her house then. . . I'll take her to mine. Thanks for the tip Jessie!"
Jessica's mouth dropped so low it was comical. Alexander rolled up all the window and told the driver to 'bring us home'. I laughed the whole way there.
~~~~~~~~~~on the way home~~~~~~~~~
I was still laughing when we pulled unto the driveway. Halfway through the trip home, Alexander stopped looking at me like I was crazy, and joined in too. Wait a minute. . . did I just call his house my home? Weird. . .
"Are you done daydreaming or are you gonna spend the night in there?" Alexander asked with a smirk.
I snapped out of my mental considerations. The limo must have stopped a long time ago, because even the driver looked annoyed. "Sorry." I said apologetically. I came out of the limo quickly and allowed the driver to lock it.
Alexander and I went into the living room to sit. I looked forward and saw a 120inch television. I sighed, I can't believe that for the first time in 7years, I'll miss Celebritay Exposé. I looked over to Alexander. He never did tell me why we had to come home early. Well as long as I'm gonna ask him what is causing me boredom, I might as well entertain myself.
"Alex," I cooed sweetly. He looked at me with a startled expression. Ha ha! Loser. "Where are our parents?"
"I don't know?" He said regaining his composure. "Your guess is as good as mine."
"Then did you do this to get us alone together." I smiled flirty. I batted my eyes.
"Nope, as I said, parents' order." He sighed bored, "by the way, at this point, you're supposed to look up through your eyelashes. Not bat them. Seriously, you don't even know how to flirt. Which loser girl has to take flirting advice from a boy? Oh I know! You."
"Shut up!" I threw one of the couch cushions at him. I looked at my phone and saw that it's ten minutes to three. Celebritay Exposé starts at three, so I could grab a snack, talk to my besties and still have enough time to watch it. "Hey Alex?"
"Yeah, what?" He asked.
"Can you call me when Celebritay Exposé starts?"
"You watch it too?" He asked enthusiastically.
"Who doesn't?" I answered. "So will you call me?"
"Sure thing!"
"Thanks!" With that I ran to the kitchen.
Ten minutes later I gathered enough snacks to share with Alex, and I was almost done making up excuses for Kim and Angel, via group chat.
"Don't worry," I said to them, "I'm sure I'll be able to join you guys at Kim's home next weekend.
They had accepted my apologies and explanations, after minutes if begging of course. According to me, it was a false alarm, and everyone was alright. I really should have played more attention to the time though. Maybe I could have avoided what happens next.
"HANABIRA!" Alex bellowed, running into the kitchen. "CELEBRITAY EXPOSÉ IS STARTING!"
"Who's that?" Asked Kim and Angel in unison.
"Umm," think, think think! Got it, "that Tamahome, my big brother. Remember?"
"Nope," said Angel, "Tamahome never shouts. And his voice is much sexier."
"Hey!" Defended Sir Alexander, the dumb.
"It must the phone static," I lied, "the show has started see you tomorrow at the mall! Byeeeeeee!" I hung up. That was too close.
