"What is the matter with you!" I was banging my head on the wall, trying to figure out how get out of this mess.
We had silently watched Celebritay Exposé, even laughed and ate snacks together. But, the second that the t.v. show finished, we began jumping down each other's throats.
"BUT YOU TOLD ME TO CALL YOU!" he bellowed.
"WILL YOU SHUT UP!" I yelled, "IT WAS YOUR BIG MOUTH THAT GOT US INTO THIS MESS IN THE FIRST PLACE!"
"Sorry." He whispered, backing down.
"Sorry?" I asked incredulously, "do you think 'sorry' is gonna find me an excuse as to why I was with you, instead of my parents?!?!"
"Good point."
"Argh!" I screamed, "will you stop being so cooperative, and help me figure this out?"
"But," he asked sounding puzzled, "If I'm not cooperative, why would I help you."
Good point.
"Gosh! Will you quit acting smart." I was too close to purposely passing out."Acting? Oh my, what wrong with this girl? You are looking at a guy with an I.Q. of one hundred and ninety six. (196) " He said proudly.
He's back.
"Says the boy with an average of 60%, in English." I laughed out loud, "Do you even know what I.Q. stands for?"
"Information quantity?" He asked.
I laughed out laughed out loud again. Ha, I just "LOL'd". Get it? Ha!
"Hello? Children?" I heard Cindy call out.
"We're in here, mom." Alexander answered.
"Great," my mom said walking in as well, "we're all here." Both Alexander's and my parents walked in. Lastly, my dad walked in. Carrying three suitcases behind him.
"Dad!" I smiled broadly, "are we moving out?"
"No," he said slowly, "we are." He said and motioned between himself and my mom.
"WHAT!!" I was confused and outraged at the same time. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN? YOU'RE LEAVING WITHOUT ME! YOU CAN'T DO THAT! WHY!!!"
"Take a guess. A wild guess." Mom said exaggerated.
Oh no. Please no!
"Grandma's coming to visit." I said matter of factly."Yep." Dad said. "Good luck. Good bye."
"Have a safe trip." I said walking into the kitchen.
Alexander must have thought we were all crazy. "Wait, just like that! It's just a harmless old woman. It's not that big of a deal, you don't have to go halfway across Canada to get away from her."
"Actually," mom looked embarrassed, "we're going halfway across the world. We'll be in Paris until she's gone."
"I still don't get it." Sighed Alexander, obviously confused.
"You'll understand once you meet her." Cindy stated, then everyone but Alexander nodded.
"Oh boy. Everyone's acting weird today. I bet-" his phone rang at that moment. Simultaneously, so did mine. It was Angel. Yay. That was sarcasm by the way.
" Hey girlfriend!" I was so nervous, my voice came out two octaves higher. "What's up?"
"Oh nothing," I could basically see her rolling her eyes, "just, you know, WONDERING WHY THE HECK YOU WERE WITH ALEXANDER WHEN YOU SHOULD BE WITH YOUR PARENTS!" I could hear Kim agreeing in the background.
"What are you talking about," I chuckled nervously, "I am with my parents. Mom say hi to Kim and Angel."
"HI GIRLS!!!! WHAT'S UP?" Mom yelled. Seriously, if someone else shouts near me in the next twenty four hours, my eardrums will burst!
"See?" I said relieved to have a solid alibi, "it was Auyama you guys heard. His voice is getting deeper you know. Soooooo, I'll see you guys at the usual place at the usual time tomorrow? Great! See you there. Ciao!" I hung up before they could protest.
I let out a huge sigh. I looked over to Alexander, and he was just hanging up. He looked straight over to me and said, "Your stupid friends called my stupid friend and told them everything. Now the dumb idiots are making even dumber assumptions. What are you gonna do about this?"
He waited for my answer, I didn't give him one. I went straight upstairs to my room, and wondered what could possibly happen tomorrow. My parents are leaving me with strangers and Grandma, my bff's suspicious of me, and worst of all, who knows what trouble Alexander is gonna cause this time.
I sighed for what must be the fiftieth time, then I remembered. . .
