Chapter 2: Friends?

*Bang Bang*

"Urr...one moment..." I manage to groan as I stumble out of bed, however I just fall back into my bed.

*Bang Bang Bang*

"Give me a second..." saying without moving.

*BANG BANG BANG BANG*

I sit up dead straight, and I jump out of bed and I march to the door, muttering "For Notch's sake and all that is blocky who is knocking on my door at this time of night? I look out and yell "WHO THE HELL IS THAT? I SWEAR IF YOU'RE GONNA GIVE ME SOME COOKIES SOMEONE'S GONNA GET PUNCHED RIGHT IN THE BA-

My word was interrupted by the door flying open and 2 people walking in, having a sort of square-ish robotic figure. I know these people very well. They're some of my few friends.

"Hey Alex, thats no way to talk to people, eh?" one said. He was Varro. He could be useful in a problem, or a puzzle, not really in a fight. The other one however, was the funny one, "lively" didn't really fit the criteria. Bristol, she was called. A 3rd figure strode in. She had multiple names. Livvy, Harmelodie, theglobin, she was best known to us by Livvy.

"Varro, Bristol, Livvy, I appreciate the gesture of coming to find me as a friend, but it shouldn't really involve nearly busting down my door in the middle of the night."

Bristol shrugged "It was Varro's idea to bang on the door. He thinks it'll scare you cause it reminds you of...someone"

I look at Varro. "Not in the nighttime, please."

Livvy comes over to me and says "We've been looking for a place to set up a shelter. Would we be allowed to stay around here? Not like we'll bother you or anything.

"Thats absolutely fine Livvy. Just don't build it within...20 blocks? Thanks"

They all nod their heads and leave the house. I grab a torch off the wall and find my bed upstairs. I collapse into it and begin dreaming...

"Hey Alex..." A voice says to me. I've heard this voice for a while now, I have yet to discover who it is. *What do you want?*

"Eh, I got bored. I like talking to you the most"

*Gee thanks, makes me... "appreciated" sarcasm intended.

"Hey, I'm not that bad! Besides, who was that at the door?

"Some friends, why?"

"Eh, just wondering...wait, you better wake up and look out the window..."

I wake up, and look out the window to see a figure on the horizon. Weither it was a friend or foe, I could not tell.
