*Ring Ring*
Finally, school is over for the day.
Sophie gathered her things from her desk, as Marella kept on tormenting her for answers.
"Come on, why can't I know what happened?" Marella whined.
"Because Marella, you don't need to know! It's something I want to keep to myself right now." Sophie countered.
Marella sighed, collecting her stuff as well. "Ugh, Fine. I'll leave you alone."
Sophie sighed in relief, before Marella added, "Just for today." , she groaned.
"If it means I get peace and quiet today, then go for it." Sophie said, noticeably giving up.
Marella smirked, and the two girls walked out of the classroom, towards their lockers to head home for the day.
That was before Marella started noticing the posters, that were probably put up during last class.
"Oh. My. Goodness. Sophie look, just look!" Marella said, nearly squealing.
"What?" Sophie said.
She turned towards where Marella was pointing, and read the words on the poster.
It read :
'BROOKLYN HIGH SCHOOL' S ANNUAL HOMECOMING DANCE IS THIS SATURDAY!
TICKETS 10$ PER PERSON, FOOD , DRINKS & PHOTOS INCLUDED'Sophie's eyes widened. The last thing she needed was a homecoming dance to worry about. She had never been to one herself, and it would be nice to go, but she felt like too much drama was bound to happen there. It was best to stay home, and binge watch Netflix shows.
But Marella had other plans.
"Sophie we have to go! We can bring Dex, and we can all go as friends!" Marella insisted.
"But Marella-" Sophie started.
"No, no. Shh. We are going, end of story." Marella cut in.
Sophie rolled her eyes, knowing that she wasn't going to get out of this mess anytime soon.
"Ugh fine. But can we talk about this whole thing later?" Sophie asked.
Marella grabbed Sophie's hand, and led her away from the poster. "No silly! We have to go dress shopping of course!"
"No anything but that!" Sophie said, fighting to get out of Marella's grip. But Marella was strong enough to hold onto Sophie's wrist.
Sophie eventually gave in, also remembering that she had to do this sooner or later. While the girls walked to the nearest shopping mall from school, Sophie invited Biana to come, knowing her sense of fashion.
She also wanted to spend more time with Biana, after what happened last time she saw her. Sophie knew that after the incident , Biana was most likely confused.
Once Sophie and Marella had got there, they saw Biana waiting for them outside by the entrance of the mall.
"Hey girls!" Biana said, waving.
Sophie smiled. "Hi Biana! Marella this is Biana, Biana this is Marella." She introduced.
Marella smirked. "I don't like nicknames by the way, so don't even." She said, then adding, "It's nice to meet you."
Biana, who looked like a kid high on sugar, squealed, and said. "Come on, we have to make sure we get the perfect dress for Sophie."
"And for us." Marella added.
Sophie tilted her head in confusion. "But isn't homecoming for school students only?"
Biana laughed, "Well I don't know the policy, but there is no way I'm missing homecoming. I'm homeschooled, so it's kinda my only chance to go." She added, looking at the ground.
Marella grabbed their hands and looked at the girls. "Look, I didn't come for a pity party. We came here to have fun! It'll be like a girls day out!"
Both of girls agreed with Marella, and entered the mall.
