they ran onto the stage and my friend, hayden, almost blew my eardrum out when she saw luke. she started jumping crazily and waved to him. she caught his eyes, probably with her electric green hair-it was crazy, but cool-and he winked at her. then his eyes moved over to me and he gave me a slight smile and a wave before the song started.

they sang and i sang along. i couldn't believe i had met luke earlier, after he admitted to having sex with my roommate ariel. i wasn't surprised, she was that girl. one night stands every night it seemed. he looked so flustered and hungover when i saw him, but when i saw him now he was alive and full of energy. i wanted to be like him, or at least some part of me did.

"excuse me, is your name kylie?" a security guard asked me as i was about to exit the stadium. hayden and i were some of the last girls to leave.
"yes?" i said.
"luke has asked for you to meet him outside in their tour bus. i'll show you the way, and your friend." he smiled.
