It was nearly time to enter Knockturn Alley and find Mundungus Fletcher to ask him about Jacob and the vaults. Lana had Defence Against the Dark Arts class, so she spoke to Rakepick.
"Congratulations, Miss Riviera. You've done everything possible to ensure you survive your trip to Knockturn Alley." the woman smiled.
"So, you'll teach me how to use Floo Powder?" Lana asked her.
"Yes. but let's discuss the matter after class..." Rakepick said, "You are well-prepared, but it never hurts to have backup..."
After class, Rakepick called Lana over.
"What did you mean by having backup?" Lana asked her.
"You've done well preparing for Knockturn Alley, I would, however, feel better if you were accompanied by someone capable of assisting you if anything goes wrong..." the woman told her, "Who do you chose to bring to Knockturn Alley, Miss Riviera?"
Lana looked behind her at Barnaby, who was reading through his text book...but it was upside down.
She smiled fondly at the boy, and turned back to Rakepick.
"I'll bring Barnaby with me. He might not be targeted if people know his parents...plus, he's very intimidating to others, and I know he'll do anything to help me." Lana told Rakepick.
"Ah yes, Mr Lee. Not the brightest wizard in Hogwarts, but definitely the strongest. Good choice, Miss Riviera. I'm sure he'll keep you safe." Rakepick said, smiling in amusement, "Class dismissed." she announced to the room, and everyone packed up their things and left.
"Fancy joining me on a little trip to Knockturn Alley?" Lana asked Barnaby as they walked out of the classroom, hugging his arm.
"What?" he asked, tilting his head.
"I'm visiting Knockturn Alley soon, but Rakepick wanted me to bring someone with me, and you were my first choice..." the girl told him.
"I was your first choice?" Barnaby awed, "Aw, baby..." he gushed, wrapping his arms around her and picking her up.
She squealed in surprise and giggled, punching his back lightly to tell him to put her down. He kept her in his arms and looked at her lovingly.
"I promise that I won't let anything get to you." he told her sincerely.
She smiled sweetly at him and kissed him softly. He set her back down on the ground and took her hand.
"Thank you, hun." she said, kissing him again.

The next day, Bill had sent an owl to Lana, asking her to meet him on the Training Grounds.
"Thanks for coming, everyone." the oldest Weasley told Lana, Merula and Jae, "Rakepick taught me an amazing spell last year, and I've been wanting to teach it to Lana ever since. It'll be useful for Jae and Merula too, whether you're visiting Knockturn Alley or facing the next Cursed Vault."
"Are you going to tell us what it is, or are we supposed to guess?" Merula huffed impatiently.
"Usually you're the cause of the drama, but apparently this time, you want to ruin it..." Bill mumbled, "It's the stunning spell, Stupefy. It's the best spell I've found for stunning an opponent, and rendering them unconscious. Ready your wands, and I'll show you how it's done..." he finished excitedly.
He taught them the stunning spell, and Lana found it easier than she thought. Bill seemed to think so as well...
"Well done! Try casting the stunning spell, Lana!" he praised.
