Chapter One

My names Aubrey although most people call me Bree. There's a lot that has happened to me just in a short period of time and I realized people don't understand some of the things I do or have done , so I thought maybe if you all saw it the way I did then perhaps you would understand. For some things I have done it was just plain stupid and had nothing to do with having a different perspective it was because I'm a teenager and I have a tendency not to think before doing stuff and it could have had something to do with the people or person I was hanging around.

He was everything I ever wanted in a guy. Sure we had our ups and downs and fought like an old married couple but in the end that's what made us strong. We were closer Than I have ever been with anyone .... Well besides my best friend Amber . In fact she's the reason I started writing this diary and keeping track of every fight , break up and .... Well why don't I just start my story from the beginning so you get the whole picture.

| Monday September 22 |

I jogged up the school stairs quickly so that I could talk to my friends Amber and Esther before the bell rang , and I only had ten minutes. Well for anyone who knows me it will take me ten minutes to start what I want to tell them.

I threw my backpack on my hook then grabbed my two friends and pulled them into the girls bathroom. " Whoah ! What happened with you ? " Amber asked.

I smiled so wide that I probably looked like a fool. Then I began. " So Amber , do you remember on Friday when Mason came up to me and asked for my number ? "

" Yes " she replied.

" Well he texted me yesterday when I was at my old place. We talked all day and every time I asked if I was being annoying or something he said no I like talking to you " My two friends started squealing and jumping up and down. " I'm so happy " I said.

" I bet you are. You've only been stalking him on Instagram and admiring him in class for about two weeks " Esther said giggling.

" Shut up "

" Oh look now she's blushing " Amber swooned. Amber was my absolute best friend and no one could ever take her place as my best friend. Heck without her I probably would have lost my head. No matter what happens between us I can never stay mad at her for very long. " Bree that's the bell , we're late for class "

The three of us made our way into the class room and sat down just as our teacher ( Ms. Schall ) started the math lesson. Lucky me where my desk is in class I can stare at Mason and admire his amazing hair and incredible face. Wow I sound like a stalker. Actually that's kinda funny because I went through his Instagram profile and even took screen shots of some selfies.

In my defence Amber told me to.... But she also told me to delete it too. Oh well no one looks on my phone anyway other than my mom sometimes , but even then she doesn't go through my photos.

••• First Break •••

" Oh c'mon . Seriously how on earth ar- " I was in the middle of a sentence when Kate came up behind me.

" Sorry for interrupting but Allyssa and Mason just broke up so he's all yours girly " She said.

My jaw dropped. " Oh my gosh really ?"

She nodded. " Yup just as they were walking into the cafeteria Mason said that he kinda liked someone else so she got mad and ended it right then and there "

I was happy and I mean really happy but then it hit me , I ruined a relationship. " Is Mason okay ? " I asked.

" Okay ? He's more than okay , he's ecstatic. Well I gotta go find Taylor and Molly , talk to you on the bus Bree " I smiled and nodded then she left.

" Well I have to say I think your day just went from good to excellent and to think it's only ten thirty " Amber spoke.

" Bree's gonna get a boyfriend , Bree's gonna get a boyfriend " Esther sang as we walked into the cafeteria.

"Okay Esther we are happy for Bree but let's not embarrass the shit out of her " I looked at Amber in shock.

" You , Amber my best friend doesn't want to embarrass me ? " I clarified.

She shrugged and pursed her lips. " I don't want to screw this up because I know that you really like him , maybe even love him "

I stopped for a second after she said ' maybe even lie him '. " well I think it might be a bit early for love " I laughed.
