Chapter Seven

It's been a whole week since Mason and I started dating. It's now less awkward when we are alone together and we talk a lot more about personal things. He's told me some things that he's never told anyone and I felt extremely lucky. Ever since Kate said he didn't really trust anyone , every time he tells me something I take it as a good thing.

Oh and some new and exciting news. Yesterday in gym Jackson asked out Esther , so now the only one left out of the dating group is Amber. But I'm sure we can hook her up with someone. Hmm maybe Nic ! I forgot I haven't mentioned Nic yet. He's Mason's best friend just he hasn't been at school lately because he recently broke it off with Ellie in grade seven and he has anxiety. So he's had a few weeks off of school.

When Mason first told Nic everything that he had missed , like Mason asking me out , he didn't believe him. Nic came up to me that day and said " Are you and Mason dating ? " And I was like yeah. It was actually quite funny because Nic was a person I never really paid attention to until he got back to school and me and Mason were dating. The reason why it's funny was this week Ms. Schall moved our desks and now I'm sitting with Nic and a girl named Tangie.

Nic is one of those people that just doesn't care what anyone thinks of him and he's absolutely hilarious. Dirty but hilarious.

Something that I've learned though about Mason , is he loves cuddling. I know right he doesn't seem like the cuddling type. And he's very clingy , like he never wants to let me go .... EVER . Esther and Amber get really fed up with it and sometimes they even ditch me because they know Mason will be with me. I think even Amber is beginning to hate Mason.

People are constantly trying to break us up. Like just the other day a girl from grade seven , also known as Masons ex , came up to me and said he was on drugs. So I asked him and told him to tell me truthfully well he's not really on drugs ... but he did tell me he smokes weed. I really like him though and I'm not gonna let something as little as that get between us. Then there's other people just trying to start a fight so we will break up.

Amber , Esther , Jackson , me , Mason and Nic all walked down the hallway heading to our class. " Alright team , we are all gonna head down to the cafeteria for the Terry fox run assembly then afterwards we will be going outside to the track to do laps for fourth minutes. I expect you all to set a prime example for all the younger kids since you all will be the oldest , okay ? When you're ready you can head down" Ms. Schall said. Augghh weren't we just in the cafeteria ?
