Miracle: Part 2

Too Afraid

The Doctor paced back and forth "How could this be? She's gone, she's supposed to be gone"

"Obviously she isn't" Missy said packing hers and Miracles things. Miracle was still watching t.v.

"We have to ask her" he said impatiently

"I already talked to her. She's too afraid, she's isn't going to say anything" Missy argued

"We have to try" he said walking over to Miracle, he sat next to her "Miracle". She ignored his too busy watching the teli. The doctor grabbed the t.v. remote control and turned it off.

"Oi!" Miracle letting her Scottish accent out

"Miracle, we have to talk about M" he said

"No!" Miracle refused

"Sweetie we have to, we wont let her do anything to you, I promise" he begged

"No" Miracle said crossing her arms

"Miracle!" He said loudly "Either you tell me or I'll make you!" He was full anger, he wanted to help her bur he didn't know how to get through to her.

Miracle stared at him stunned, her father had never yelled at her like that. Her eyes watered and her lips quivered, she began to sob. The doctor leaned in to hug her but she moved back, she ran and hid behind Missy.

He stood up regretfully "Miracle I'm sorry, I just need to know" he apologized

Missy looked at him in disapproval and picked up Miracle "Its okay honey" she said giving her a kiss "Daddy is just scared. We cant help you if you dont tell us whats going on" she said hugging her tightly. Miracle nuzzled her face into Missys neck and refused to talk, Missy sighed "I told you she wouldn't talk. Now lets get back to the Tardis so we can figure this out" she said rubbing Miracle back

When they got back to the Tardis Missy made Miracle take a well deserved nap. She walked into the kitchen to make tea for the doctor and herself "Calm down" she told the doctor as she poured tea into his cup "She'll talk eventually, just give her some time"

"How am I supposed to calm down when someone is trying to hurt our daughter!" He exclaimed

"Now now doctor, we both know M.." she paused "M would never hurt Miracle"

"But how can we be sure" he argued

"Doctor!" She said "You need to snap out of it! Miracle is going to be fine" she sipped some of her tea "Besides we wont get anything done with you acting like this" she said looking at him up and down

"Well sorry for acting like a father" he said mockingly

Missy rolled her eyes "Anyways, where'd you go when you mindlessly left me and Miracle by ourselves?" She asked

The doctor let out a weak smile "I was working on a surprise"

Missy sighed "Oh great more surprises". She stood up and put her now empty cup in the kitchen sink. She yawned "Well I'm going to bed" she looked at the doctor "You coming"

"No" he said lost in thought

Missy shrugged "Suite yourself"
