Miracle: Part 2

Family

"Doctor" Missy shook him gently "Doctor wake up"

The doctor lifted his head from the table "Huh?" He said drousily

Missy chuckled "Honey you fell asleep on the table"

He looked around sleeply "Guess I did" he said standing up "What time is it?" He asked getting a bottle of water out of the fridge

"Around ten" she said pouring powdered pancake batter in a bowl

"Where's Miracle?" He asked suddenly awake

"Don't worry about her" she said mixing the batter "She's watching tv" Missy turned on the electric stove "You should go wash up. Breakfasts almost ready"

The doctor groaned "Yes ma'am" he said walking to the bathroom

The smell of pancakes and eggs filled the Tardis, "Miracle!" Missy called from the kitchen. Miracle came running, she was still in her sleeping clothes. She propped herself on her high chair. "How many pancakes would you like?" Missy asked

Miracle held up two fingers "Two please"

Missy set a plate with two pancakes, a bowl of fruits and a small glass of milk in front of Miracle "Eat up" Missy said with a smile

The doctor walked in "Morning my little princess" he said kissing the top of Miracles head

"Morning daddy" she responded with a smile

The doctor sat at the end of the table and Missy served him his plate. The plate had scrambled eggs, sausage and a mini pancake with a side of  dark coffee." Thank you" he said giving her a kiss

Missy smiled and sat down next to Miracle. Missy had a bowl of oatmeal with a side of toast and she was drinking orange juice "My pleasure"

Miracle poured maple syrup over her pancakes "Daddy?" She asked taking a bite of her breakfast

"Yes" he said taking a sip of his coffee

"Who's Clara?" She asked

Both the doctor and Missy raised an eyebrow "She's a friend. Why?" He responded

"Some friend" Missy said under her breath, the doctor glared at Missy, she shrugged her shoulders.

The doctor looked back at Miracle waiting for a response. Miracle drank some of her milk "No reason" she said wipping her milk mustache off.

"Miracle," he said softly "You obviosly had a reason to ask"

Miracle played with the fruits in her bowl "Okay, but you gotta promise to not tell anybody"

"We promise" Missy and the doctor said

"M told me she had a plan and Clara had the key" she whispered

"The key to what?" Missy asked

Miracle shrugged "I dunno"

The doctor sighed in frustration "She must have told you something else, something about her plan"

Miracle though for a moment "She told me she wanted to come back. That's all, I swear" she said holding her right hand up, tears formed in her eyes "She doesn't want to be alone"

The doctor rubbed his eyes, Missy took Miracle out of her chair and sent her back to her room. "You can't blame her" she said walking to the sink

"Can't blame who?" He asked putting his plate in the sink

"M." She said turning on the focet "She just wants to be with her family"

"She doesn't belong in this time period" he argued

"Well that isn't gonna stop her from trying" she said scrubbing a frying pan "That girl is as stubborn as a mule and you know it"
