Chapter 2

Thor POV

I slowly opened my eyes to bright lights. All I remember is coming out of the Bifrost ass-first and hitting the ground. Hard. I lifted myself off of the soft bed, and looked to see a girl sleeping in a chair to my left. She had a dark grey cloak with red patchings and a rose colored cape. Her hair was black and had red highlights at the tips. Honestly, this mortal was quite adorable. I got up, which made the bed creak ALOT. I'm pretty sure I just woke her up. I opened the window and reached my hand out. Soon enough, Mjölnir came flying into my grasp. I looked behind me to see the girl staring at me wide-eyed.

Ruby POV

That was awesome! He can just bring his hammer to him like that! Cool!

Thor: "Excuse me mortal, but could you tell me where I am."

He spoke in a deep and godly accent that sent shivers down my spine. I felt my face heat up at the sound of his voice and his looks.

Ruby: "Y-yeah, you're in the Beacon Infirmary, I'm Ruby Rose, what's your name?" I said smiling

Thor: "Beacon? Well it seems I've arrived at my destination. My name is Thor. Thor Odinson."

Again. His voice was amazing. He just had this tone and look that could rid anyone of all their stress.

Ruby: "It's nice to meet you Thor. If you'll follow me please, the headmaster would like to se you."

Thor: "Please, lead the way."

Thor POV

As I followed Ruby, I noticed she had a nervous look and was quite tense.

Thor: "Are you alright madam? You seem quite nervous."

She giggled and responded with a simple "I'm fine."

When we reached the elevator, I had to duck a tad bit just to fit in. She pressed a button and we started our way to the top of the tower.

Thor: "If there is any way I could relieve your tension, please do tell."

She suddenly burst and started asking a barrage of questions.

Ruby: "What's your weapon called? Does it turn into anything? What does it do? Do you have cool powers? Are you really the God of Thunder? Where do you live? I bet it's really cool up there!"

I put my hand on her shoulder and she calmed down. Well, more like froze and turned red.

I chuckled and answered her questions one by one. Once I finished, she had stars in her eyes. The doors then opened, and there was Ozpin, sitting at his desk, talking with two others. He looked at me and seemed relieved.

Ozpin: "Ah, Thor, it seems you've awoken."

Thor: "That I have. And this adorable little young one here was kind enough to show me here." I said, gesturing to Ruby.

Third POV

Thor didn't notice, but Ruby exploded into a blush that rivaled her cape when he called her adorable. She quickly said goodbye and rushed out, still blushing madly.

Ozpin: "Thor, I would like you to meet General Ironwood and Winter Schnee."
He said, gesturing to them respectively.

They looked at him suspiciously, but then the female saw my weapon, and looked confused.

Winter: "Please do excuse my asking, but what exactly is the weapon your holding?"

Thor: "This is Mjölnir. It was forged by dwarves from the heart of a dying star. It is made of an ancient Asgardian metal known as Uru. It allows me to focus my power, as well hit things pretty hard. Only the worthy may wield it."

Winter seemed impressed. Ironwood on the other hand.....

Ironwood: "Bullshit. There's no such thing as worthiness. Your holding it just fine."

Thor grew a smug look. He set Mjölnir down on the floor and stepped away.

Thor: "By all means, be my guest." He said, gesturing to the hammer. Ironwood has a confident smirk. He stepped up and but both hands on the handle. When he pulled up, he was shocked to see that the hammer wasn't moving an inch. He tried a multitude of different grasps. But none of them worked. After he finally accepted defeat, which took a while, Thor picked up the enchanted weapon with no effort at all, causing it to emit a low hum as it moved. After that little event, Thor and Ozpin began to discuss the details of his enrollment in Beacon Academy.

Thor: "I would like to join your academy, but if you don't mind, I would also like make a few... requests."

Ozpin: "And what are said requests?"

Thor: "No uniform, and I want to be on my own team."

Ozpin: "That can be arranged. Well then, Thor Odinson.... welcome to Beacon Academy."
