LOVE &PAIN & HEARTBREAK

Chapter 14

That week Josh kept texting and calling her, leaving her voicemails. He even called her friend Brittany telling her to tell Maria he was sorry. Maria left for school really early that week. When Maria got to school one of Josh's friends came over and said

"Hey Maria right?" He said

"Yes thats me why?" Maria questioned

"Well I'm Josh's friend and i wanted to apologize for the bet the other guys made. They thought because you and him broke up that you would just take him back. I was against it all because i hate when girls cry and get played. They were being stupid so i just left. But my name is Blake Coins. I really apologize for your heartbreak." Blake told with a heart

"Thank you."Maria said starting to cry

She started crying right in the middle of the hallway of Qurdigile. She closed the locker and slid down on the floor and broke out into tears. Blake bent down and grabbed he and gave he a big hug. Maria felt like he was the only person that cared. He stood up putting his hand out for Maria to grab.

"Maria its okay dont cry, look heres my number and im not being a player i just wanna be a good friend and let you have a shoulder to cry on. Come on ill walk you to class." Blake said smiling

"Okay thanks Blake." "Maria said smiling for the first time in weeks.

He walked her to class , she couldnt get Blake off her mind. It wasnt a friendship thought though. That day was the day they first met.They've offically known each other for a month , Maria was ignoring Josh until he caught her in the hallways talking to Blake and started a riot.

"BLAKE how could you, you know how i feel about her and you sit here and do flirt with her."Josh yelled

"Umm Josh i need you to go because i can talk to anyone i want. We are not dating anymore.."Maria said turning around talking back to Blake

Blake just smiled. then he asked her

"You wanna go out to eat for dinner tonight just as friends you know know."Blake asked blushing

"Yea of course see you at 8?"Maria smiled asking

"Yea see you later beautiful Maria."Blake said laughing.

Maria just walked down the hallways smiling. Maria got home did her homework and watched a movie. around seven o'clock Maria got up and got in the shower. She picked out the perfect red ruffle dress. She did her make up and out on her red high heels. Blake was ringing the doorbell

"Hey Maria." Blake said with a big smile

"Hey Blake. How do i look?"Maria said jokingly

"You look beautiful Ms.Sanitago."Blake said smiling

"You ready to go?"Maria asked

"Yes lets go."Blake said putting her arm inside his arm.

Blake was so stunned by how she looked. He really wanted to kiss her, because the truth was he had always had a crush on her since she came to Qudigle. They got to the reastuarant and he got out and opened the door for her being the perfect gentlemen.

"Thank you Blake." Maria said

They enjoyed their dinner and talked and laughed and hung out for the rest of the night. They whinned it up having a movie night. Maria didnt realize it but she was laying on Blake's lap

"Oh sorry i didnt realize i was laying on your lap, I'll just move."Maria said with an awkward look on her face

"Maria its okay, I dont really care." Blake said smiling

"Well im tired i think I'm gonna go to bed. You can sleep on the couch or in the guest room or in my room on the floor"Maria said getting up

She kissed him but didnt realize. She noticed she had feelings for Blake. She didnt want them but the heart wants what the hear wants. But the suprise was he kissed her back.

"Uhhh I'm sorry. I'm gonna go to bed." Maria said

She ran up the stairs and into her room forgetting to close her door. Blake ran into the room and grabbed Maria around her waist. He turned her around and looked her in the eyes.

"Maria there is nothing to be embarrassed about. I wanted that kiss. I want you Maria." Blake said

He leaned over and kissed her from top lip to bottom lip, feeling the smoothness of her lips. He loved it.

"Maria can I tell you something."Blake asked her

"Yes go ahed."Maria said with a scared look on her face.

"I love you." Blake said with embarrassment on his face.

"Blake i dont know what to say."Maria said

Blake looked her right in her eyes and smiled and Maria said

"Blake I dont wanna get my heartbroken again."Maria told him letting go of him walking towards the door

"Maria wait!!! I wont hurt you im not like Josh i care about you. After 3 weeks of being friends i started to catch feelings for you. I was upset when i saw you cry because you didnt deserve any of it. The pain.The heartbreak.The tears. You deserve love Maria. I cant help but tell you how much I like you. When I see you smile it gives me goosebumps because it makes your face more beautiful than it already is. When i hear you laugh i just have to smile at you because its adorable. Maria I want you to be mine because i cant sleep without thinking about you. Your the one i love." Blake told her grabbing her again

Blake grabbed Maria by her waist again and she wrapped her arms around his neck and they kissed. She felt fireworks adnt his time they were real fireworks.

"Maria will you be my girlfriend?"Blake asked Maria with his cheeks turning red.

"Yes Blake"Maria said smiling starting to happy cry

He wiped her tears away and told her

"Dont cry Maria i will always love and take care of you."Blake told her

They hugged and went back downstairs to finish the movie and they cuddled. Maria was so happy, She found someone who makes her happy and that she can trust.
