Chapter 19

Homecoming was a day away and Maria still hadnt picked out a dress. So Blake took her shopping, she tried on this beautiful pink dress. She came out the dressing booth

"Do you like it?"Maria said twirling around

"It dosent matter what I think as long as you like it, I'm just paying."Blake said smiling

"It's beautiful, but its $105"Maria told him looking at him

"I dont care we can get it if you want it. We can get you some pink high heels to match it and I'll get your hair done and make-up done for you."Blake told her

"Come here."Maria told him pointing to the spot in front of her.

"What?"Blake said looking down laughing

Then Maria kissed, she wasnt dating him for his money or anything just his personality.

"You know you dont have to do this for me, plus you will have to wear a pink shirt under your tux."Maria said laughing

"Okay."Blake said laughing hardly

"I think i like the blue one better though and i dont want you to pay anymore money on me."Maria told him taking the dress off putting her clothes back on.

"Maria I got this."Blake said laughing

Maria put the shoes and dress on the register counter.

"That would be $200.00." The casher said

"Oh no I'll put the dress back."Maria said

"No I told you, if you like it I'll get it. I already got a tux."Blake told her pulling his credit card out.

"You guys are so cute together."The casher told them

"Thanks."Maria and Blake said together laughing

When they got out of the mall, They went to the house and chilled and watched some movies.

"Maria, what if my mom invited us over for dinner tonight?"Blake asked her while they were picking another movie to watch

"I'll go I will just be really quite and to myself."Maria said

"You dont have to be quite or to yourself. My little sister and brother loved you and so did my dad."Blake said looking into her eyes

"And your mom?"Maria asked him

"Well I dont know because she was being kind of rude the last time.I'm sorry."Blake said

"No dont be, It's whatever."Maria said walking away from the movie shelf

"No it's not. Are you okayy?"Blake asked her turning around to look at her

"I promise you I'm fine as can be."Maria said with the fakiest smile.

Blake knew something was wrong but he didnt want to get her upset or anything, so he just left it alone. He felt so bad telling her about his mom not really liking her, so they decided not to go.

"Umm I think I'm gonna go to bed. Goodnight."Maria said

"Goodnight Maria."Blake said going to give her a kiss noticing she was already up the stairs.

"I love you too."Blake said under his breath kind of sad.

THE NEXT DAY........................

It was homecoming day so the seniors didnt have school. Maria got up really early to go run. Blake couldnt sleep, he was still sad about last nigh. Then he heard the front door open.

"That was a good run."Maria said smiling

"I bet."Blake said going into the kitchen

"Whats wrong?"Maria asked.

"Nothing I'm just hungry."Blake said lying.

"Can you believe 4 more hours till homecoming."Maria jumping up and down.

"No."Blake said laughing

3 hours had passed and they had been watching tv and then it was time to get ready.

Maria came down the stairs. Blake's mouth just popped on.

"You look AMAZING."Blake told standing next to the stairs.

"So do you."Maria said coming down the stairs.

They got in the car and turned on the music and the first song that cane on was Turn Up Music- Chris Brown. they were singing and dancing in the car laughing just having a good time. Then they arrived.at homecoming and Mari knew she was gonna love it.
