Two weeks later we were already settled in our new habitation. I wouldn't call it a home because I've never had one. I start college today, apparently mum already processed my admission into a college 20 minutes from the house. I had no problem with that.
Speaking of mothers, well things are still very awkward between us but I'm trying to make it work. The longest conversation we've had so far is just a minute, that's something right?! I'm doing this for my sister. I know she's hiding something from us, I just don't know what it is she's hiding.
Taking in my appearance, I was wearing a blue mummy jean and a peach tank top which I tucked into the jean. My dirty blond hair had natural curls, so I let it fall to my face. Using a bit of mascara and lip gloss, I put in my hazel brown contact lens. I look good!. I put on my white Adidas sneakers and grab my bag also my jean jacket.
"Good morning" I greeted
Morning, mum replied giving me a small smile.
Where's Laura? I asked looking around
She's getting ready for school.
Oh! The silence made me uncomfortable. Grabbing an Apple off the table. I said my goodbyes and left the house.
20 minutes later, I arrive at school. Walking into the hall way, I could feel the stares and some were even whistling not that I care. Checking my schedule on the phone, I have English first. I don't even know my way round here. I have to ask someone. Approaching the first girl I saw, she just hissed at me and left. Hish! Someone forgot to take her morning pills. Looking around confused and my first class starts in 7 minutes, what do I do??

You're new here right?! I'm Alexis she introduced stretching her hand forward
Davina! I replied taking her hand.
Wow! That's one unique name, I'm totally jealous she replied giving me a smile.
Oh well! I smiled giving a playful shrug.
Do you mind if I take a look at your schedule?
Not all! I replied giving her my phone.
She looked up giving me a smile whuch got me temporarily confused.
We have all our classes together, she clarified.
That's really nice! I said happily. Atleast I won't have to walk alone making a fool of myself.
Let's head to class shall we?
We shall! I replied taking her hand which she offered.
And by the way, you look fabulous! Your fashion sense is muah! She complimented
I chuckled at her statement. You look pretty, more pretty than I am, I replied which got a laughter out of her .
Settling into the class, we still had 3 more minutes before the lecturer comes into. We take our sits at the back. We were having a little talk before someone interrupted us
Ahem!! I heard a little cough beside me.
Hello! I smiled.
I'm Samantha, she introduced in the most annoying voice ever. Judging by her appearance, pink short leather skirt, white crop top and a black knee length leather shoes. Perfectly manicured nails and makeup, I'm guessing she's the queen B around here. First time a queen B is being nice.
I'm Davina, I replied.
Well Davina, why 're you hanging out the loser her when you could hang our with me and the populars? She asked
I think I judged too soon, she's a queen Bitch. Looking at Alexis, she looked scared. She probably thought I would leave her and hang out with Samantha and her minions .
Turning to back to Samntha. Thank you for the offer Sam but i think I'm good here. Alexis looked at me with wide eyes. So this is the first time a queen bitch as been denied.
What?! She screamed which got us more attention.
Are you refusing my offer for this, this loser right here?
Well Sam, this loser right here, I said taking Lexi's hand in mine is my friend . Besides I'm more comfortable with her.
You'll regret this Sabina! She said stomping her foot on the ground
It's Davina ! You're not in high school anymore Sam, get used to not getting everything you want. I could here snickers, gasps and laughter all round us.
I promise you'll regret this, she said before stomping away.
Nice to meet you too, I shouted after her.
Damn! This isn't even high school, what's the drama for. I gave a Lexi a smile which she returned. She was about to say something but couldn't because our lecturer walked right in!.
