Asher's Pov
I remember when I was around 5 or 6 years old, I don't really remember the exact age but I will never forget the memory I had that day.  It was during the rainy season. Mum, dad and I had gone to a family dinner with aunt Cara, her husband and their annoying little daughter Addison, with some people I didn't really know, they also came with their kids. While the adults sat on a table, we the children were pushed to another table. I was a really stucked up child then, always frowning and making troubles. The kids were chattering and having fun, I was really  tired of their noise so I stood up and left the restaurant.  My parents didn't even notice when I stood up and left. They were engrossed in their own conversation. There was a park in front of the restaurant, so I sat on a bench I saw there. Looking up the the pregnant sky, I knew it was going to rain. I just couldn't wait to go home. Then I heard whimpers coming from behind a bush, curiosity got the best of me so I traced where the sound was coming from. When I got to the source of the sound, it was a girl. She was crying into her palms.
   Flashbacks
Hello! Why are you crying? I asked her scooting down to her level.
She looked up at me and her eyes were the most beautiful thing I've ever saw. Blue and brown.
My..my...dad called me a monster she said in between sobs.
      Why would he?
He said my eyes is exactly the same as a monster, she replied
Don't mind him, he's just jealous that he doesn't have beautiful eyes as yours.
Really?! She asked, her sobs stopping.
    Nodding in agreement, yes!
She gave me a beautiful smile and I found myself smiling back.
  End of FLASHBACKS.
I remember both of us talking alot that day, we'd laugh at every little thing. There's only one thing I regret not doing and that's asking for her name.
Did I mention it rained?! It did rain that day, we hid under a little shelter we found. So technically we met on a rainy day. I was about to ask her name before i heard my mum screaming my name that day so I gave her my necklace as something she'd remember me by. I told her the necklace would give her solace when she needed it.
I found myself going to that park everyday but I never came across her again. I felt bad but I guess everything happens for a reason. When I first met Davina, I thought she was the one but she didn't have blue-brown eyes instead she has hazel brown eyes.
I still couldn't believe I actually kissed Vina, don't get me wrong, I didn't regret it. I just don't know what came over me, even though I've dreaming about kissing her. Her lips tasted exactly how I had imagined it, strawberry. God I wanna kiss her so bad right now!
I still can't get the expression she gave when she met that Mason guy out of my head. She looked terrified. He must have done something really bad for her to look that way. I noticed the way he was looking at her, regret and pain which you'd see if you looked carefully.
Davina is hiding something and I'm determined to find out what it was. I'd better start with this Mason of a guy. Something tells me there's something off about the guy and if there's one thing I trust. It's my inner voice, instincts.
