"Should we take my car or..." I said.

"Let's take your car, I guess." He replied.

We drove past a closed bar.

"I used to work there ."

"A summer job?"

"Yeah. It got really crazy, some nights."

"Yeah I bet."

I studied the road carefully, not making eye contact with Damon. I was searching the back of my mind for something to say, and thought I'd have a little laugh.

"Well ya know, I used to work at a strip club." I said with a mischievous smirk.

I looked carefully at his face. Looking for any change in his expression. I saw a smile ignite at the corner of his lips. As if he were imagning me working . After about a minute he spoke.

"What was your routine? How much did you get paid, and if you would describe to me your sluttiest outfit." Ending the statement with a playful wink.

"Runway, pole dance, then actual stripping. $165 and hour, and with the tips the money was 'maximum wage' . and a lace red g-string, matching connect stockings, with a black maskito bra, and a leather jacket with chains."

"You lying bitch." He gave a playful shove with a burst of laughter. "I'd like to see that." He said intimately, and trailed his warm hand up my shirt.

I slapped it away. But I really wanted more than his hand had to offer. I wanted all of him , the best of him.

I pulled up to the narrow parking space where the blue paint was flaking away. Shutting off the engine, I glanced at Damon.

"Your so beautiful."

I answered with a husky smile.

Our steps united as we walked in the door. We ordered and sat down for our orders to be made. Half an hour later we walked out of the cozy restaurant.

I looked at him and he seemed to be thinking about something.

"What's on your mind?"

"I was just thinking maybe we could ditch, and spend the day together."

I bit my bottom lip. The elegance of his dark blue eyes captured my heart and I couldn't say no.

"How about Stonebrooke Park?"

"I was thinking the same thing."

"We can just walk from here?"

"I'd like that."

The day was perfect. The air was crisp and cool, with a refreshing breeze, that smelled of ocean salt.

His hand found mine, and they clapsed together. We walked silently side by side. Finally, I saw the shimmering lake pop into view. The sun reflected off it right onto the patios. We started around the wavy copper cobblestone, and watched the ducks waddle away. The great cranes flew off towards the courts where people had fast food.

We walked silently around the lake, and we turned onto the red wood planked bridge. We peered out over the water and I stole a glance at our reflections that were distorted on the water, my straight hair danced with the breeze, and I saw him smile back at me.

Water droplets fell from the now cloudy sky drizzling the ground below our feet. I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear and gazed into his eyes. He jumped in a  large puddle creating a one second water barrier between us. His head tilted and mine did too. His lips melted into mine, never letting go until we were breathless. I felt secure as I was in his embrace. His strong arms held me close to his body, I pulled him closer to me and deepend the kiss, so I could savor more, he tasted to right, and his lips were radiating warmth to mine.

I love youHe said with all his heart.

I love you too. I replied officially handing over my heart too him.
