Chapter 7

Erika's p.o.v.

Erika felt something poke her shoulder.

"Gimme a minute," Erika mumbled, swatting at the person behind her. Erika got up and pulled out her uniform and quickly got dressed. Erika quickly took care of her hair and followed Lydia and Wednesday to the Great Hall. Erika looked at her schedule and let out a sigh.

"What is it?" Lydia asked.

"We have potions as our first class with the Hufflepuffs," Erika responded. Lydia nodded and all three of them sat at the table where they waited for Professor Dumbledore to make an announcement. Erika didn't pay attention to his announcement and she played with her tie until breakfast appeared.

Erika helped herself to some toast with grape jelly and she nibbled on it throughout breakfast until it was time for class.

Wednesday's p.o.v.

Wednesday had noticed Erika hadn't eaten much during breakfast, so she snuck a piece of toast for her in case if she got hungry. It was odd for Wednesday to care about someone that wasn't her family or Rocky, so she knew that she was going to have a connection to this girl as she does with Rocky.

Erika's p.o.v.

They reached potions class and Erika, Lydia and Wednesday headed to a desk somewhat near the front. Erika pulled out a quill, some parchment paper, her potions book and her inkwell. Erika started to doodle on her parchment paper until Professor Snape came in the room.

"Today for class, you will be working in groups of three to work on the Cure for Boils," Professor Snape said, his gaze looking over the class. Erika turned around to see what he was trying to look at.

"MISS POPULAIRE!" Professor Snape snapped. Erika snapped her head back to the front of the room and gave him an apologetic look. Erika felt someone rub her back and she flinched away.

"Sorry," Lydia whispered.

"Please don't do that again," Erika whispered back, returning her gaze back to the front to learn the instructions and ingredients.
