Erika's p.o.v.

Potions class had just ended and a girl had run past her crying. Erika looked back at Wednesday and Lydia who were chatting among themselves. Erika nervously grabbed her tie and debated going after the crying girl.

After a quick debate with herself, Erika went after her without Lydia and Wednesday noticing her. This surprised Erika as she was kind of a noticeable person.

Erika ran to the nearest bathroom and strained her ears trying to find the crying girl. Erika walked further into the bathroom, staying alert to hear someone crying. Erika closed her eyes and blocked out all her senses but her hearing. Erika kept walking, pausing to listen until she found the girl. Erika decided to do something else as her trick wasn't working.

"Hello? Anybody here?" Erika asked, turning in a full 360. Erika heard a quiet gasp and she turned in that direction. The gasp came from a shadowy corner by the sinks. Erika squinted and noticed a girl curled up in a ball. The girl tried to back away from Erika.

"Look, I know I might SEEM scary, but I'm not. I have one question to ask you. Are you the girl from potions class?" Erika asked, sitting on the cold hard bathroom floor. The shadow nodded. Erika sighed in relief.

'Now I have to help someone because I committed, I am going to suffer,' Erika internally groaned.

"Why are you crying," Erika asked, tilting her head.

"I was called a disappointment for being a Hufflepuff," the girl sniffed. Erika furrowed her brows in confusion.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because I'm a Stepien," the girl started crying again. Erika had no idea what that meant, but she assumed she came from a long line of Slytherins.

"Need a hug?" Erika asked, opening her arms for the girl. The girl nodded and the two stayed there for a while in a hug before Erika remembered she needed to tell Lydia and Wednesday she was okay.

"Let's get you cleaned up," Erika said, pulling away from the hug. The girl nodded. Erika got some paper towels and gave them to the girl. Erika stayed with the girl until she cleaned herself up.

"Thank you," The girl weakly smiled.

"There you are Gamila!" two female voices shouted. Erika whipped her had in their direction.

"I've got to go, I hope you have a great day!" Erika said, dashing out of the bathroom to meet her friends.

"Where were you?" Lydia asked.

"I was helping a crying girl in the bathroom," Erika said, walking into the library, ready to study.
