The Undoing

Chapter 2

We grabbed his hand and were sucked into a spinning vortex and landed in a green tiled room. There was a grand wall of book shelves on the left side of the room and on the right was a fire place with circular wooden table with more than a dozen chairs. At the wall nearest to the table, was a board with newspaper clippings, but strangely enough as i looked around, I didn't see a door.

"Where are we?" I asked as I looked around for a door.

"This is the Order of the Pheonix Headquarters," said Dumbeldore as he watched Ron walking around looking at the newspaper clippings on the wall.

"These are all 'bout Voldemort...why?" said Ron looking at the Headmaster.

I walked over to the shelf, looking at the titles on the binding of the book, "You see the Order was created to strategize any means needed to protect the wizarding and muggle world alike from any dangers of Voldemort. We have not had much recent information since the events of the Philosopher's Stone. We are attempting to figure out his motives for all of this but it has lead us through many twists and turns; hence the clippings dating back couple centuries."

"Although I feel that it is a feeble attempt as history has shown us that dark wizard are nothing but unpredictable beings."

All the titles were alphabetical like an encyclopedia. I opened the book that started with Be-Bi. The first page looked to be about a family by the name of Berrett. it gave the basics as per usual I guess and then the next page listed all the members of the blood line. This is crazy some of these date back to the time before the 1400s. How could this be, these books were records of every muggle and wizard that ever lived.

"Why do you have these records?" I ask when suddenly I hear the sound of someone apparating into the room. The first person to land was Kinglsey Shacklebolt, then followed by Dedalus Diggle, Elphias Doge, Hagrid, Lupin, McGonagall, Tonks and Snape.

I greeted the all of them since obviously they had something to do with the sudden escape of the school.

I went up to Tonks, "Hey what is going on?" i asked.

"I thought Dumbeldore would have told you... Well you will soon find out." she said as she took a seat at the round table. I sat next to her as I was conflicted in what was happening. Everyone else took their seat.

Dumbeldore was the first to speak, "Thank you for coming at such short notice, but it is safe to say that what we have been waiting for has unfolded in this years Triwizard Tournaments."

"Voldemort has returned...and Harry has had a sort of confrontation with him." he said as everyone was shocked from the news, "this was planed since Moody's identity was taken by Crouch Junior."

Snape clears his throat, "We need to act fast because it seems that Tom is recruting new members for his group of death eaters." he says

"But what does this have to do with Ron and I" I asked.

"Well you see, given the circumstances of Tom meddling into Harry's life, your lives are in danger." he said calmly so that it could sink in that we were in danger since we became friends with Harry.

"Hermione you are being placed in the CWPS, the Classified Wizard Personnel Sector, as a safety percaution."

"With these precaution measures that the Order and Ministry of Magic have taken, we will be obliviating the memories of the students at Hogwarts, including teachers of any memory of seeing you interacting with Harry. And you will be taking private lessons with your current teachers separately out side of school grounds."

"Why must I stay away from the Hogwarts? I thought we were safe?" I asked worried.

"Well that's the second part of this; you see, due to your intelligence and skill the ministry and order have decided to invite you to assist our efforts." He said with confidence, "If you would like to assist we will explain further but know that we need bodies on the field, intercepting."

"What, that's crazy how am I suppose to sneak into his death eater society?" I said bewildered.

"Not sneak in but more like recruited into the death eater society. You will start training advanced dark arts with my self and Severus tomorrow afternoon and shall be prepared for when the time comes for your assignment to commence."

"This is crazy..." I said in disbelief.

"Ms. Granger, we chose you because we know you have prepared yourself without realizing it." he said reassuringly.

"But how do you know that they will want me?" I asked worried.

"By the time you finish your training, you will be the most wanted witch to aid their mission." said Snape.

"At the first site of you, they will lust for you."
