Since forever

Part 4

It has been a few months right now that Donna and Harvey has been together. They were both very happy with each other. They've been more happier than a couple who has been married for 15 years. Today was Donna's birthday. Rachel and Mike are coming for the weekend to New York to celebrate her birthday.

Donna POV

I  woke up and saw that Harvey wasn't laying in bed. I decided to look for him. I looked in the bathroom he wasnt there so I decided to look at the living. I saw him sitting there and it seemed like he already has taken a shower. He was talking to someone at phone and I was wondering who he was talking to.

Harvey : " Okay, thank you for the help. It means a lot to me. Bye."

As soon as he finished his call, he saw me standing over there. He looked nervous and decided to act like nothing happened. He stood up and made his way to me.

Harvey : " Hey beautiful, did you slept well?"

Donna : " Yes I did and you?"

Harvey : " Yes I did, thank you for asking."

He was acting weird and I didn't understand what was going on. He was nervous and it was like he was hiding something from me.

Donna : " Hey Harv, who were you talking to at the phone just now?"

Harvey : " Oh no one special don't worry."

Donna : "Oh okay"

He was really strange and it seemed like he forgot that today was a big day for me.

Harvey : " Donna I'm going out for the day I'll be late at home to get ready for our dinner with Rachel and Mike so I'll join you there."

Donna : " What are you going to do?"

Harvey : " I've just some things to take care of. See you tonight."

He gave me a fast kiss on the cheek and as soon as I knew he was gone. All I wanted to do was crying because first of all he forgot my birthday and second he just left me alone for the whole day. I decided to call Rachel but before I knew someone was knocking at the door. When I opened it was Rachel.

Rachel : " HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DONNA!!!!"

Donna : " Thank you, Rach," I said with sadness.

Rachel : " Hey Donna, what's wrong? Shouldn't you be happy today? It is your birthday!!!"

After she said that suddenly I started to cry.

Rachel : " Oh Donna, what's wrong?"

Without answering her question she directly understand what was going on.

Rachel : " He forgot your birthday, didn't he?"

Donna : " He did," I said with tears in my eyes.

Rachel : " oh Donna I'm sure he didn't forget it."

Donna : " He did forget it, Rach. He acted so weird and strange today. He said he had some things to take care of so I get the spend my day alone at home without the love of my life and he said  he'll join us for diner so he will go straight to the dinerplace."

Rachel : " Oh Donna, I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope he'll remember it."

I hope will remember it.

Rachel : " What do you say, we go shopping and you choose a beautiful dress for the diner and I'll pay that for you as a gift from me for your birthday."

Donna : " That would be nice."

Rachel : " Let's go!"

Rachel and Donna spend a great day together. She found a beautiful dress for the diner and hoped Harvey would like it. It helped Donna a bit to forget the fact that Harvey forgot her birthday. Rachel decided to get ready with Donna and that Mike will meet them there. As soon as Rachel and Donna got ready they were on their way to the diner place.
